Overview

The VESPER wall light by FARO is a surface-mounted luminaire designed for those who want to update their home lighting without complications. It mounts directly to the wall and offers a clean visual presence, with no loose cables or distracting elements. It is a lamp that works well both in everyday living spaces and in hallways or rest areas.

The VESPER collection was designed by Nahtrang with a specific idea in mind: to simplify the concept of interior lighting without sacrificing character. The result is a wall light made up of two bodies that play with the contrast between solid and open, giving it a modern look without appearing overdone. It is a lamp that fits easily into different home environments.

FARO is a Spanish brand with years of experience in the indoor and outdoor lighting sector. Its products combine design criteria with functionality, and are aimed at the end user who seeks quality without unnecessary technicalities.

Installation and specifications

Before installing the wall light, check that the wall where you are going to mount it has an available light point or that an electrician has prepared the cable outlet. As it is a surface-mounted wall luminaire, installation requires anchoring the base to the wall with appropriate screws and plugs depending on the wall type. If you have plasterboard or hollow material walls, use fixings specifically designed for those surfaces. Electrical connection must always be carried out by a professional if you have no experience. Please note that the E14 LED bulb is not included and must be purchased separately.

To keep the wall light in good condition, clean the steel body with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the brown finish. Do not handle the bulb or the lamp holder while the wall light is connected to the power supply. If the luminaire shows any sign of damage to the wiring or structure, stop using it until it has been checked.

Design and use

The VESPER wall light is constructed in steel with a brown finish that adds warmth without being eye-catching. The combination of these two elements, metallic structure and earthy colour, makes it compatible with environments decorated in neutral tones, natural wood or even more contemporary style proposals. It is not a lamp that imposes a specific style, but rather adapts to what you already have.

The collection's design is based on the interaction of two main bodies, one solid and one with open space, which creates a visual interplay that gives depth to the whole. This concept means the wall light functions as a decorative element on the wall even when it is switched off. During the day it contributes form; at night, light.

In the living room, this wall light can be used to complement the central lighting or to create more intimate light zones next to a sofa or bookcase. In the dining room, placed at the right height, it helps to define the atmosphere without competing with the main ceiling luminaire. It is a lamp that adds without taking away.

In the bedroom, the wall light has a practical advantage: it frees bedside tables from table lamps. The light is fixed to the wall at the height you choose during installation, and the result is a tidier space. For a smaller room, this type of wall mounting also helps to gain visual space.

In the bathroom, if electrical conditions allow and the wall light is installed at a safe distance from wet zones in accordance with regulations, it can work as supplementary lighting next to the mirror. In larger bathrooms, it can complement the general lighting. Likewise, in hallways is where this type of lamp finds one of its most common uses: marking the route with light points distributed along the wall, creating continuous lighting without the need to install ceiling luminaires at every section.

The VESPER collection is available in different formats within the same series, making it possible to combine more than one wall light in the same space while maintaining visual coherence. Two units in a hallway, or one on each side of the bed in the bedroom, produce a neat and modern result without major investment in decoration.

The lamp accepts E14 LED bulbs of up to 8W, which equates to very low consumption. The compatible voltage ranges from 100V to 240V, so it works without adapters in most countries. The weight of just over one kilogram makes mounting straightforward and does not require special fixings on conventional walls.
