Recycling (WEEE)

The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol on our electrical products and their packaging means they must not be thrown away with household waste. Electrical items contain materials that can harm the environment and human health if not disposed of properly, and valuable materials that can be recycled.

When you buy a new electrical item from Martsella (Martsym Trade Ltd), we will take back your old item of the same type or function free of charge, on a like-for-like basis (for example, an old light fitting when you buy a new one), whatever its brand and wherever you bought it.

To use this service, email info@martsella.com within 28 days of receiving your new item, quoting your order number and describing the item you want to return. We will send you instructions for returning it to us free of charge.

You can also take old electrical items to your local household waste recycling centre. To find your nearest one, visit www.recycle-more.co.uk or contact your local council.
