Overview

The FARO wall light is a surface-mounted lamp designed for those who want a clean light source free of distracting elements. The bulb is the focal point of the composition, and everything else is designed to complement it without drawing attention to itself. It is a lamp that fits in many contexts: from a bedroom to a hallway, from a living room to a bathroom with limited space.

Its compact size and unadorned silhouette make it easy to integrate into different room styles. The bright copper finish adds a warm touch without feeling overdone. This wall lamp was created by Faro Team, the in-house design team of the Spanish brand FARO, recognized for developing luminaires with aesthetic and functional criteria for the domestic environment.

Installation and specifications

Before installing the wall light, check that the electrical connection point corresponds to the chosen position. Since it is a direct wall-mounted fixture, it is advisable to check the type of surface before drilling. For brick or masonry walls, use a suitable wall plug and screw for the weight of the light. If the wall is drywall, locate a stud or use a specific anchor for hollow materials. The wiring must be embedded in the wall or covered with a cable duct before fitting the lamp. Always connect with the power switched off and, if in doubt, consult an electrician.

To clean the aluminum body with a bright copper finish, use a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or those containing solvents that could affect the finish. Before cleaning, disconnect the lamp from the power supply. Do not touch the bulb with your hands when handling it, as skin oils can damage the filament over time. Periodically check that the wall fixing remains secure.

Design and use

The FARO wall light is made of aluminium, a material that combines lightness and durability. Weighing just 140 grams net, the structure places no burden on the wall and allows for straightforward installation. The bright copper finish gives it presence without needing to be eye-catching. It is one of those finishes that changes depending on the ambient light: in a room with warm light, the copper intensifies; in natural light, the tone becomes more neutral and understated.

The design of this lamp puts the bulb front and centre. There is no shade, no diffuser, no complex structure. The aluminium bracket holds the E27 lamp holder and positions it against the wall, leaving the bulb visible. This turns the light source itself into the decorative element. Depending on the bulb you choose, the visual result changes completely: a visible filament LED will give a warm and elegant effect; a standard opaline LED will provide a more diffuse and uniform light.

In the living room, this wall light works well as ambient lighting placed at mid-height, especially on walls where there is not much space for furniture. In hallways, two symmetrical units at the same height create an orderly visual line that guides the path without overwhelming the space. In the bedroom, installed on either side of the headboard, it replaces bedside lamps and keeps the surface free. In the bathroom, provided the safety zones defined by electrical regulations for wet areas are respected, it can be used as supplementary lighting next to the mirror. In the kitchen or dining room, it provides a warm light point that complements the main lighting without competing with it.

The bright copper finish works well with environments that combine natural materials or metallic touches. In a setting with light wood, the copper adds contrast without feeling discordant. In spaces with neutral tones, greys or whites, it acts as a colour accent. Its minimalist lines also allow it to coexist without difficulty with more modern styles or more restrained design approaches where every element has its function.

The wall light accepts E27 LED bulbs of up to 15 W, which allows flexibility in choosing according to the needs of each space. It is compatible with voltages between 100V and 240V, so it works with standard electrical installations in Spain and Europe without the need for adapters. The bulb is not included, which allows you to select from the outset the type of light and colour temperature that best suits the room.

Questions and answers

Does the wall light include an E27 LED bulb or does it need to be purchased separately?

The bulb is not included. The wall light is fitted with an E27 socket and accepts LED bulbs of up to 15 W. You can choose the one that best suits the type of light you are looking for in each space.

Does the bright copper finish require any special care to maintain its appearance?

It is sufficient to clean the aluminium body with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Abrasive or chemical products that could deteriorate the finish should be avoided. With basic maintenance, the bright copper finish retains its appearance for a long time.

What are the exact dimensions of the wall light and how much space does it take up on the wall?

The wall light measures 70 mm in height, 60 mm in length and 60 mm in depth. Its total diameter is 60 mm. These are very compact measurements, making it suitable for spaces where you do not want the lamp to take up too much volume.
