To clean the aluminum body, a dry or slightly damp cloth is sufficient. The glass shade can be cleaned with a soft cloth to avoid scratching the surface. Abrasive products or solvents should not be used. The bulb is not included: it is necessary to purchase separately an E27 socket bulb, preferably LED, with a maximum power of 15 W. It is advisable to switch off and disconnect the lamp before any maintenance operation or bulb replacement.

Design and use

The TATAWIN wall light is a wall lamp with a clear starting point: the vernacular architecture of North Africa. The conical shape of the shade, which references the rooftops of the dwellings of Tataouine, makes this wall light something more than a functional object. It is a piece with history behind it, and that is noticeable when observed up close.

The design is by Adolfo Abejón, a designer who has worked with FARO on several collections. In TATAWIN, the result is a lamp where every element is justified: the aluminum body provides strength without adding unnecessary weight, and the glossy black glass of the shade creates a visual contrast with the satin finish of the body. That tension between two finishes of the same color is what gives character to the whole.

In a bedroom, this wall light works as a lateral light point, placed at the height of the bedside table or slightly above. The light it projects is directed and controlled, making it more useful for reading or creating a specific atmosphere than for illuminating the entire room.
