SAVOY is a wall light designed for interior lighting. It works well in bedrooms, living rooms, hallways and bathrooms — any space where a fixed light source with its own visual character is needed. Its integrated LED reader allows it to be used both for general ambient lighting and for reading or working with directed light, without the need to add another lamp.

The most recognisable element of this wall light is the ring at the top of the structure. Light reflects off it and projects a visual effect onto the wall, adding depth without overwhelming the space. The shade is made of black textile fabric, which filters the light softly. The body is steel with a matt black finish — no shine, no unnecessary details.

SAVOY was designed by Isaac Piñeiro for FARO, a Spanish brand with decades of experience in interior and exterior lighting. FARO works with renowned designers and pays close attention to both the visual appearance and functionality of each piece.

Installation and specifications

To install this wall light, an existing electrical connection point is required, or the assistance of an electrician to prepare one. The wall light is fixed directly to the vertical surface. Before installation, check that the wall can support the weight of the product. If the surface is plasterboard or a similar material, use appropriate fixings. The E27 LED bulb is not included — purchase it separately before installation.

To clean the steel body, use a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that may damage the matt black finish. The textile shade can be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth. Do not wet the fabric directly. Always disconnect the wall light from the power supply before any cleaning or handling of the bulb.

Design and use

The SAVOY wall light by FARO starts from a simple idea: a wall lamp that not only provides light, but becomes part of the space. The metal ring at the top is not merely an aesthetic detail — it acts as a reflector. When the lamp is switched on, the light bounces off that ring and creates a halo on the wall, an effect that adds visual depth to the corner where it is installed.

The black textile fabric shade filters and softens the light. It is not a harsh or overly intense illumination — it is a light that creates atmosphere, suitable for moments of rest. At the same time, the LED reader allows additional light to be directed when more focus is needed, for example, for reading in the bedroom before sleep.

The body of the wall light is steel with a matt black finish. This type of finish does not accumulate fingerprints easily and maintains a clean appearance with little maintenance. Matt black fits a wide variety of interiors: from the most sober and contemporary to those that combine dark tones with wood or natural materials. In a living room with neutral-coloured furniture, this wall light becomes a point of interest without dominating the scene.

In the bedroom, SAVOY serves a dual purpose. At night, the ambient light from the wall light creates a calm environment. The built-in reader allows reading without disturbing a sleeping partner. Questions and answers

Does the wall light include the E27 LED bulb or does it need to be purchased separately?

The bulb is not included. The wall light is compatible with E27 LED screw-cap bulbs, with a maximum power of 15 W. You will need to purchase the bulb separately before installing the lamp.

What type of wall does this wall light support and how is it fixed?

The wall light is fixed directly to the wall using anchors. It is compatible with solid walls, brick or concrete using appropriate fixings. On plasterboard or similar surfaces, it is recommended to use fixings specifically designed for that material and to verify that the electrical connection point is available in the installation area.

Is the upper ring part of the structure or is it an independent accessory?

The ring is part of the wall light's structure. It is integrated into the design and serves an optical function: it reflects light towards the wall, creating the halo effect characteristic of this model. It is not an additional or removable element.
