The ORLEANS 3L wall light by FARO is a wall lamp with three light points designed for interiors where additional lighting is needed without taking up space. It mounts directly on the wall and works well in hallways, bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens or bathrooms. This lamp addresses a specific need: adding light at a particular point in the room without resorting to a ceiling or floor lamp. Installation and specifications

For wall installation, it is recommended to locate an existing electrical connection point or plan the conduit routing before mounting. The fixture must be secured to a firm surface, ensuring the anchors are properly fastened to the wall. Since the power cable is not visible on the outside of the luminaire, it is advisable to plan a recessed installation or prepare the cable routing before fitting the wall light. It is recommended that installation be carried out by a qualified electrician. The lamp accepts voltage between 100V and 240V, making it compatible with the standard electrical grid in Spain and Europe.

The matte black steel body can be cleaned with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Abrasive products or solvents that may damage the finish should be avoided. Do not clean with the lamp on or immediately after switching it off. Please note that the GU10 LED bulb is not included and must be purchased separately before using the wall light.

Design and use

The ORLEANS 3L wall light has an elongated structure that extends 585 mm horizontally along the wall. The three lamp holders are distributed along this axis, oriented so that the light falls downward or forward depending on the position of each point. This arrangement is particularly useful when you want to illuminate a work area, a mirror or a section of hallway without relying on an overhead light source.

The matte black steel body gives the wall light a clear presence on the wall without appearing visually heavy. Matte black is a finish that does not reflect ambient light, keeping the look clean regardless of the type of ambient lighting in the room. This lamp pairs well with picture frames, handles, fittings and other decorative elements that also use dark tones or black metals.

In the bedroom, the wall light can serve as a side reading light if placed at the right height next to the bed. A single wall lamp with three spotlights provides more light than a single-point wall light, without the need to install several separate elements. In the living room, it can be placed above a low piece of furniture or on a wall without windows to compensate for areas with little natural light.

In the kitchen, the ORLEANS 3L wall light can be placed above the worktop or in the space between upper and lower cabinets, where direct light is usually lacking. In the dining room, a well-positioned wall lamp can complement the central lighting and create a more balanced atmosphere during meals. It also works well in the bathroom, provided it is installed in an area with no direct contact with water, such as the wall facing the mirror or on a side wall.

In hallways, this type of wall light is particularly practical. Hallways are usually narrow spaces where a ceiling lamp does not always provide enough light at the ends. Placing a wall light on the side wall allows you to visually guide the path and avoid areas in shadow. The length of the ORLEANS 3L means that a single installation point covers a generous strip of light.

The minimalist design of this lamp allows it to be combined with Nordic, industrial or contemporary style interiors. The black steel pairs well with light wood surfaces, white or grey walls, and also with darker finishes if a more contrasted result is desired. Questions and answers

Does the ORLEANS 3L wall light include the GU10 LED bulbs?

No. The lamp is supplied without a light source. Three bulbs with a GU10 socket and LED technology must be purchased separately, with a maximum power of 8W each.

How far does the wall light protrude from the wall once installed?

The body depth is 170 mm, which is the distance it occupies from the wall outward. This should be taken into account if it is to be installed in a narrow hallway or a passageway.

Can this wall light be installed in a bathroom?

It can be installed in a bathroom, but only in areas away from the shower or bathtub, where there is no risk of direct splashing. Check the safety zones according to electrical regulations before choosing the location.
