Installation and specifications

To install this wall light, it is recommended to have a junction box in the wall or a prepared cable outlet. The fixing system goes directly onto the wall with the appropriate anchors depending on the type of surface — brick, drywall, or concrete each require different wall plugs. It is advisable to cut the power before any connection and, if you do not have experience with electrical installations, to seek the help of an electrician.

The matte black steel body can be cleaned with a soft, slightly damp cloth. The ash wood shade should not be wet or cleaned with abrasive products. For the PMMA diffuser, a dry or barely damp cloth is sufficient. Avoid contact with solvents or harsh chemical products.

Design and use

The LOOP LED series starts from a simple idea: a wall light that does not overload the space but does not go unnoticed either. The circular base is fixed to the wall, and from there an steel arm extends to wrap around the ash shade. That embracing shape — which gives the series its name — is what makes the lamp stand out without being extravagant.

Ash wood is the material that defines the character of this lamp. It is a light-coloured wood with a soft grain that ages well and works well alongside steel. The contrast between the matte black metal and the warmth of the wood creates a balance that fits in modern interiors, but also in spaces with more natural or Nordic elements. If the wall light shares a room with light-coloured wood furniture or neutral tones, the result is very coherent.

The articulated arm is perhaps the most practical part of the whole piece. It allows the light point to be directed in different directions, making the wall light useful both as ambient light and for illuminating a specific area. In a bedroom, for example, it can be directed towards the headboard for reading without disturbing the other side. In a living room, it can point towards a painting or a reading area. That flexibility means the lamp adapts to the use rather than the user having to adapt to it.

The colour temperature of 2700K produces a warm light, similar to that of a traditional incandescent bulb. It is a light that does not strain the eyes, promotes relaxation, and works especially well in spaces where you want to create atmosphere: bedroom, living room, dining room. It can also work in a kitchen if placed in a seating area or at a bar, although a cooler temperature is usually preferred for the kitchen work area.

In a bathroom, the wall light can work well in areas outside the splash zone — next to the mirror or on a side wall — to add a warmer light that complements the main lighting. In hallways, a wall light of this type breaks the monotony of a corridor and creates a point of visual interest without taking up floor space.

The included dimmable LED source is a practical advantage. There is no need to buy a bulb separately, and the ability to adjust the intensity allows the same lamp to be used for different times of day. At full brightness for activities, and dimmer to create a calm atmosphere at night.

The matte black finish of the body is a detail that adds value. It is a colour that works with many styles — from the most industrial to the most contemporary — and does not show dust or scuffs as easily as glossy finishes. The translucent PMMA shade diffuses the light softly, without causing direct glare.

Does the arm of the wall light allow the light to be directed in different directions or does it have a fixed position?

The arm is articulated, which allows the light point to be moved to suit different needs. It can be directed upwards, downwards, or at an angle depending on the intended use.

Is the ash wood shade resistant to the heat generated by the LED?

Yes. The 6W LED source generates very little heat compared to traditional bulbs, so the ash shade is not affected under normal conditions of use.

Does the lamp require an external dimmer or is the dimming controlled directly from the wall light itself?

The light source is dimmable, but the type of control depends on the installation. To adjust the intensity, a compatible dimmer switch installed in the wall or in the corresponding circuit is required.
