Overview

The LE VITA wall light by FARO is a surface-mounted lamp designed for those looking for something specific: a piece that provides good lighting while also blending naturally with the rest of the space. Its steel structure in a bright gold finish and its opal glass diffuser form a combination that adds character without being excessive.

This wall light works well in different areas of the home. It is a suitable option for the bedroom, living room, dining room or hallways. It can also be installed in the bathroom, as long as the location allows it. The LE VITA collection, designed by Nahtrang for FARO, maintains a delicate line that adapts to both more contemporary interiors and spaces with a classic touch.

FARO is a Spanish brand with decades of experience in interior and exterior lighting. Its products combine careful design with quality materials, built to last and to integrate naturally into the home.

Installation and specifications

To install this wall light, a connection box in the wall or direct access to the wiring is required. It is recommended that installation be carried out by a qualified electrician. Before starting any work, the power must be switched off at the electrical panel. The wall light is fixed directly to the wall using the included anchors. Make sure the surface is solid and capable of supporting the weight of the product.

To clean the metal body, use a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the gold finish. The glass diffuser can be cleaned with a soft cloth; remove it only when the lamp is switched off and cool. Do not cover the wall light with fabrics or materials that could accumulate near the light source.

Design and use

The LE VITA wall light starts from a simple idea: combining noble materials with clean lines to create a lamp that works in many different contexts. The steel body, finished in bright gold, has a slim profile that does not take up too much visual space. The opal glass diffuser covers the light source and distributes illumination evenly, without leaving areas that are too dark or creating unwanted glare.

The colour temperature of 2700K produces a warm light, close to that of a candle, which is pleasant in rest or gathering spaces. In the bedroom, placed at bedside height, it provides a soft light that does not strain the eyes. In the living room, it can serve as a complementary light point alongside another main lamp, or as a decorative element on a larger wall.

In the dining room, a wall light like this can reinforce the atmosphere of the space without relying on a pendant lamp. In kitchens with sufficient wall space, it can also make sense as supplementary lighting in work or transit areas. In hallways, where lighting is often reduced to a single central point on the ceiling, this wall light allows for a more direct and more prominent light.

The bathroom is another space where this type of wall lamp fits well. Placed next to the mirror, it helps illuminate the face more evenly than a ceiling light source. The combination of the gold finish with surfaces such as marble or white tiles can be particularly harmonious. In bathrooms with a more elegant style or with metallic details, the LE VITA wall light integrates effortlessly.

Opal glass is a material that filters light naturally. The LED is not visible directly, which gives the lamp a more refined appearance when switched on. The bright gold finish of the steel adds a touch of warmth to the whole, which can complement both light woods and darker surfaces. It also works well alongside other gold or bronze metallic finishes that may be present in the space, such as taps, handles or frames.

The height of 400 mm and the depth of 190 mm give the wall light a real presence on the wall, without appearing disproportionate. It is a piece that stands out, but does not compete with the rest of the furniture. The included SMD LED consumes only 7 W, making it an efficient option for daily use.

Questions and answers

Is the LED lamp included with the LE VITA wall light, or does it need to be purchased separately?

Yes, the SMD LED light source is already included. No additional bulb needs to be purchased to put the wall light into operation.

Can the opal glass diffuser be removed to clean the inside of the wall light?

The glass diffuser is designed to cover the light source. The interior can be accessed when the lamp is completely switched off and cool, following the manufacturer's instructions. It is recommended not to handle it frequently in order to preserve the finish and fit.

Is the bright gold finish on the body resistant to daily use, or does it require special care?

The finish is durable under normal indoor conditions. To keep it in good condition, simply clean it with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Aggressive chemical products or abrasive pads that could scratch the metal surface should be avoided.
