Overview

The ETERNA wall light by FARO is an interior lamp designed for those seeking a simple and classic style without sacrificing functionality. This model includes an adjustable reader to the left, making it especially useful in spaces where reading or working near the bed is required. The beige shade provides warm, diffused light, pleasant for the atmosphere of a bedroom or hallway.

The ETERNA collection was designed by Lucid with a clear focus: quality lighting for interior design projects, hotels, and businesses. However, its clean lines and chrome finish also make it a valid option for the home. FARO is a brand with a long track record in the lighting sector, known for combining careful design with durable materials.

Installation and specifications

Before installing the wall light, make sure the wall where it will be mounted is solid and capable of supporting the weight of the unit. Turn off the power at the electrical panel before starting any work. This wall light is mounted directly onto the vertical surface, so it is advisable to precisely mark the anchor points before drilling. If you have no experience with electrical installations, it is most advisable to use an electrician. The lamp does not include a light source, so have a compatible E27 LED bulb on hand before completing the installation.

To keep the chrome finish in good condition, clean it with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the surface. The beige shade can be cleaned with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not expose the lamp to excessive humidity or install it in areas where there may be direct water splashes.

Design and use

The ETERNA wall light has a discreet but well-defined presence. Its chrome steel structure gives it solidity and a neat appearance that does not compete with the rest of the furniture. The beige shade softens the light and creates a calm atmosphere, ideal for a bedroom where rest is desired without overly direct or intense lighting.

The adjustable reader to the left is one of the most practical details of this model. It allows directing the light where needed without moving the lamp or changing anything in the installation. This makes it a very convenient option for the bedside table, for reading before sleep, or for illuminating a specific area of the room without disturbing whoever is nearby.

With a height of 470 mm and a depth of 200 mm, the wall light has enough presence to be noticed on the wall without being bulky. It adapts well to hallways where lateral space is limited, as its length of 70 mm does not take up too much room. In a well-lit hallway with this type of wall light, the result is a warmer and more welcoming atmosphere than that offered by conventional ceiling luminaires.

In the dining room, a wall light of these characteristics can be used as supplementary lighting above a sideboard or on the wall next to the table. It does not replace the main lamp, but it complements the general light well and helps to create differentiated zones within the same space. In kitchens with work areas, this model can be installed above countertops or high tables to provide additional light where it is most needed.

The chrome finish of the body fits with interiors of modern or classic style. It is not an element that draws attention in an exaggerated way, but it does not go unnoticed either. It pairs well with metal frames, silver-toned fittings, or furniture with chrome handles. In bathrooms with limited lighting, a wall light like this can make a difference, provided the installation area is out of direct reach of water.

The beige shade adds a touch of warmth that the metallic finish alone would not provide. This combination — cold structure, warm shade — is what makes the lamp work in different contexts without feeling too cold or too ornate. It is a design that does not age, making it a reasonable investment both for a home and for a larger-scale project.

The use of an E27 LED bulb allows efficient consumption within the 15W limit. The choice of bulb will influence the light tone: a warm LED will reinforce the welcoming effect of the beige shade, while a neutral LED will give a more functional and clear result, suitable for work or reading areas.

Questions and answers

Does the wall light include the E27 LED bulb or does it need to be purchased separately?

The bulb is not included. You will need to purchase an E27 LED bulb separately, with a maximum wattage of 15W.

Can the adjustable reader on the wall light be moved to the right or only to the left?

This model is designed with the reader oriented to the left. If you need the reader in the opposite direction, check whether a mirrored version exists within the ETERNA collection.

Is the chrome steel body resistant to everyday use without losing its finish?

Steel is a durable material that maintains the chrome finish well with basic care. Simply cleaning it with a soft cloth is enough to avoid scratches and preserve the original appearance.
