Overview

The BOKEN LED wall light by FARO is a wall lamp designed to illuminate precisely and comfortably. It mounts directly on the wall and offers an adjustable light point thanks to its articulated arm. This makes it especially useful near the bed, where light is needed for reading without disturbing others, or next to the sofa in the living room, when you want to concentrate lighting on a specific area.

Being a wall light, it takes up no space on the bedside table or nearby surfaces. The lamp stays fixed to the wall and the arm allows you to adjust the direction of the light as needed at any given moment. The matte white finish blends easily into modern interiors, whether in the bedroom, living room, or other spaces in the home.

FARO is a Spanish brand with decades of experience in indoor and outdoor lighting. Their products combine functionality and aesthetic consistency, with attention to both installation and everyday use.

Installation and specifications

Before installing the wall light, make sure the wall where it will be mounted has adequate structural strength. Access to the electrical wiring must be available at the chosen fixing point. It is recommended to hire a qualified electrician to carry out the connection. Before any work, switch off the power supply at the main panel. Check that the installation voltage is compatible with the range indicated in the specifications.

To keep the wall light in good condition, clean the surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive products or liquids that could damage the matte white finish. Do not handle the lamp while the installation is live. The included LED light source does not require regular replacement, but if necessary, consult a technician.

Design and use

The BOKEN LED wall light has a body made of aluminium and steel, two materials that combine lightness and solidity. The structure is compact and the matte white finish gives it a clean look, with no decorative elements to distract. It is a lamp that becomes part of the surroundings without imposing itself, making it easy to fit into different types of interiors.

The articulated arm is the defining feature of this lamp. It allows the head to be moved and the light beam to be directed wherever needed. In the bedroom, this means being able to read comfortably without relying on the room's general lighting. In the living room, it allows a more intimate lighting zone to be created next to the sofa. The articulation provides room to adapt the position depending on the time of day or the activity being carried out.

The light source is a high-power LED with a color temperature of 3000K. That temperature corresponds to a warm light, similar to that of a traditional incandescent bulb. It is a tone that feels pleasant in spaces where one rests or spends time in calm, such as the bedroom or living room. It does not produce direct glare and pairs well with other light sources in the same room.

With only 3W of consumption, the wall light is efficient. The LED is included, so there is no need to purchase anything else to start using it. The working voltage is the standard European one, so no additional adapter is required.

As for dimensions, the wall light measures 460 mm in height and 460 mm in depth, with only 80 mm in width. These measurements make the lamp slim and visually unobtrusive on the wall. The net weight is just 0,4 kg, which simplifies mounting and reduces the demands on the support.

This wall light works well in hallways where light needs to be directed without installing a ceiling lamp. It can also be installed in bathrooms if the location is away from water zones and complies with applicable electrical regulations. In larger bathrooms with a vanity or mirror area, an articulated wall light can complement the general lighting with a more precise light focus.

The combination of matte white and straight lines allows the lamp to coexist effortlessly with modern or Nordic-style furniture. It has no glass, wood, or wrought iron elements, which distances it from more decorative or rustic styles and brings it closer to contemporary interiors where formal simplicity prevails. Even so, its light profile means it does not feel intrusive in spaces with more character.

In kitchens or dining rooms with work areas or reading tables, the articulated wall light can be a practical solution for directing light exactly where it is needed, without relying on a central light point.

Questions and answers
