Installation and specifications

As a table lamp, it does not require fixed installation or drilling. Simply place it on the chosen surface and plug the cable into a standard 220V–240V outlet. Make sure the outlet is accessible and that the cable is not under any furniture or exposed to foot traffic. Before turning it on for the first time, check that the inner packaging has not damaged the glass diffuser during transport.

To clean the steel body, use a slightly damp cloth and then dry it. Avoid abrasive products that may scratch the matte black finish. The opal glass diffuser can be cleaned with a soft cloth, without harsh liquids. Do not touch the LED source directly. Always disconnect the lamp from the power supply before any cleaning.

Design and use

The LE VITA collection in its black version maintains the proportions that characterize the entire series: a thin steel structure that supports the opal glass diffuser without adding unnecessary volume. The lamp is 580 mm tall with a compact base, making it suitable for placement on a bedside table without taking up too much space. It also works well on a desk where concentrated and adjustable light is needed, or in the living room on a console or side table.

The glass diffuser filters the 2700K LED light and distributes it softly, without direct glare. That warm color temperature is the one normally associated with rest: it does not tire the eyes and creates a calm atmosphere in the bedroom or dining room at night. The 7 W power is sufficient to illuminate the work area of a bedside table or desk without generating excessive heat.

The integrated touch system allows switching between three intensities without looking for switches. A gentle touch on the structure activates or changes the light level. This is especially convenient on the bedside table: there is no need to search for the switch in the dark.

The matte black finish of the steel structure gives this lamp its own character. It is not a gold or white lamp, but an object with a restrained presence that adapts to interiors with a modern, Nordic, or even industrial or vintage style. On a light wood surface, the contrast with the black works very well. In an environment with dark tones, the lamp integrates without breaking the visual coherence.

The LE VITA collection also combines with other common home materials: ceramic, wicker, rattan, or natural wood. If the same room has ceramic elements or rattan surfaces, the lamp does not compete with them. The opal glass provides a light counterpoint to the whole.

In the living room, this lamp can work as a secondary light source next to a sofa, on a side table. In the dining room, it illuminates a reading area or a work corner without requiring ceiling installation. For a bedside table, it is one of the most complete options: adjustable light, discreet design, and appropriate size.

It does not require bulb replacements because the LED source is included. The cable connects directly to a standard outlet, just like any other household appliance.

Questions and answers

Does the Touch Lamp system respond to any touch or do you need to press a specific point?

The Touch Lamp system on this table lamp responds to contact on the metal structure. There is no need to press hard or touch an exact point: a light touch on the steel body is enough to change the intensity or turn off the light.

Can the included LED source be replaced if it breaks?

The lamp includes an integrated SMD LED light source. This type of LED has a long lifespan under normal use conditions. In the event of a failure, consult FARO's technical service or contact us to evaluate the available options.

Does the opal glass diffuser hold up well against everyday knocks on a bedside table?

Glass is a material that requires careful handling. Although the diffuser is securely attached to the steel structure, direct impacts or drops should be avoided. For a bedside table in daily use, it is sufficient to place the lamp in a stable position where there is no risk of it tipping over.
