Overview

The FARO CLICK LED is a wall recessed light designed to be installed next to the head of the bed. Its main function is that of a reading lamp that remains completely integrated into the wall when not in use. When the reader is opened, the light turns on automatically. When closed, it turns off and visually disappears into the surface. No additional switches, no visible cables.

It is a discreet solution for the bedroom. It takes up very little space, does not protrude from the wall and does not interfere with the rest of the furniture. It can also be installed in a hallway or any interior area where a focused light is needed without taking up space on the wall.

FARO is a company with decades of experience in interior lighting. Its products combine quality materials with functional design, intended to integrate into real spaces.

Installation and specifications

For installation, it is necessary to make a recessed box in the wall with the appropriate dimensions for the diameter of the fixture. It is recommended to have a qualified electrician connect the wiring before fixing the body. Make sure the power is cut off throughout the entire installation process.

To clean the surface, a dry or slightly damp cloth is sufficient. Do not use abrasive products or solvents on the matte black finish. Avoid the accumulation of dust inside the reader so that the opening mechanism operates smoothly.

Design and use

The CLICK LED is a round recessed fixture made of aluminium with a matte black finish. Its body measures 115 mm in diameter and has a depth of 60 mm, allowing it to be installed in standard walls without the need for a particularly deep recessed box. The weight of the fixture is just 0.39 kg, which makes installation easier.

The operation of the fixture is completely mechanical in terms of switching. It does not require an external button or remote control. The opening movement of the reader itself activates the lamp, and the closing movement turns it off. This makes use immediate and natural, especially at night, when one does not always want to search for a switch in the dark.

The light source is a 3.3 W SMD LED included, with a colour temperature of 2700K. This warm tone is the most suitable for the bedroom, as it generates a soft light that does not interfere with rest. It is not aggressive lighting, but rather a directed and contained light, ideal for reading for a while before sleeping.

The diffuser is made of transparent PC, which allows light to come out directly without losing intensity. Being a recessed fixture, all the light is projected towards where the reader is oriented, without dispersing onto the ceiling or areas that do not need it.

In the bedroom, this recessed fixture works very well installed on both sides of the headboard, one for each person. Being independent, each user can turn theirs on or off without disturbing the other. The matte black design integrates well with dark headboards, metal frames and walls in neutral tones.

It is also a practical option for the hallway, especially in areas where there is not much space for a conventional wall light. The reader can be oriented in the desired direction to mark the route or illuminate a specific point. In an interior staircase, it can be used in the same way, installed at the height that best distributes light along the steps.

In small rooms where the space beside the bed is limited, doing away with a bedside lamp represents a real advantage. The fixture does not take up surface space, has no visible cable and does not need an accessible power outlet near the furniture. Everything stays within the wall.

The matte black finish gives this recessed fixture a modern and uniform appearance. In interiors with black metal elements, such as handles, picture frames or furniture legs, the fixture integrates without standing out excessively. It also contrasts well with white or light-toned walls, where it becomes a clean visual detail.

The lighting offered by this fixture is sufficient to read comfortably without needing to turn on the room's general lighting. This allows the rest of the space to remain in dim light, something many people value when sharing a bedroom.

Questions and answers

Can the CLICK LED reader be oriented in different directions once installed?

Yes. The articulated reader can be opened and directed wherever the light is needed, allowing the lighting direction to be adjusted according to the reading position.

Is the LED light source included or does it need to be purchased separately?

The LED lamp is included as standard. The fixture is ready to connect and install without the need to purchase any additional light source.

Does the 100V–240V voltage mean it is compatible with the standard electrical installation in Spain?

Yes. The standard mains voltage in Spain is 230V, which is within the operating range of the CLICK LED. No additional adapter or transformer is required.
