Overview

TATAWIN is a ceiling pendant lamp from the FARO brand, designed for those looking for a specific light source without sacrificing a clean and durable design. Its steel structure and shade in a satin black finish give it a firm, orderly look that doesn't draw too much attention but doesn't go unnoticed either. It is a lamp that works well in living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms or kitchens, especially when you want to illuminate a specific area without filling the space with diffused light.

The classic design of TATAWIN makes it compatible with many interior styles. It is not an oval lamp or one with complex geometric shapes: it is straightforward, with a shade that directs light downward and concentrates the focus where it is needed most. This makes it a good option over a dining table, a desk or a reading corner.

FARO is a company with years of experience in indoor and outdoor lighting. Its products combine solid construction with functional aesthetics, and are designed to adapt to different home contexts.

Installation and specifications

Before installing the pendant lamp, make sure the chosen ceiling point has adequate anchoring to support the weight of the fixture. The wiring must be switched off throughout the installation. It is recommended that installation be carried out by a certified electrician, especially if it is a new installation. The lamp is fixed directly to the ceiling using the included bracket, and the suspension cable allows the height to be adjusted according to the needs of the space.

To clean the shade and structure, use a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or liquids that could damage the satin black finish of the steel. Do not touch the bulb directly with your hands when replacing it. Make sure the lamp is disconnected before any intervention.

Design and use

TATAWIN is a ceiling lamp with a construction designed to last. The body and shade are made of steel, a material that withstands the test of time and does not lose its shape or finish with regular use. The satin black gives it a matte, restrained appearance, without distracting reflections, making it easy to integrate into different types of environments.

The metal shade directs light downward in a focal manner, meaning it illuminates a specific area without dispersing the glow throughout the room. This is useful in spaces where you want to maintain a warm atmosphere or visually divide areas of use. A pendant lamp with this light behavior works especially well over a dining table: the light reaches directly to the work or gathering surface, without invading the rest of the space.

In the kitchen, a lamp of this type can be installed over the island or the main countertop to have more precise lighting. It is not a lamp designed to illuminate an entire kitchen, but to complement general lighting with a directed focus. In that sense, it works well alongside other light points distributed across the ceiling.

In a bedroom, TATAWIN can function as the main lamp if the space is not very large, or as a complement over the bedside table in a side installation. The discreet black design does not interfere with the style of the room, whether it is more classic, more modern, or features wood elements and natural textiles.

In the living room, a black pendant lamp can act as a visual anchor point over a coffee table or a reading area. The dark color contrasts well with white or light ceilings, and can be combined with other metallic elements in the space, such as frames, furniture legs or decorative accessories.

Although TATAWIN's design has classic roots, its finish also brings it closer to more contemporary aesthetics. It fits effortlessly into interiors with industrial or vintage influences, and also coexists well with more Nordic or minimalist environments where neutral colors and simple shapes predominate. It is not an oval lamp nor does it have elaborate decorative details: its strength lies in its sobriety.

The use of an E27 LED bulb allows you to choose the color temperature that best suits the space, from warmer tones for resting environments to more neutral whites for work areas. The bulb is not included, which gives you the freedom to select the one that best meets the specific needs of each room or bathroom where it is installed.

The weight of 1.67 kg is manageable for most domestic ceiling points, as long as they are properly anchored. Its compatibility with voltages between 120V and 240V makes it suitable for different types of electrical installations.
