Overview

TATAWIN is a ceiling pendant lamp with a structure and metal shade in satin black. Its shape and finish give it a classic character that fits effortlessly into different types of interiors. It is designed for spaces where focal, well-directed light is needed: a dining room, a kitchen, a bedroom, or a living room with reading or work areas.

The oval shade concentrates light downward, making it useful above a table, a counter, or any surface where precise lighting matters. It does not scatter light throughout the room, but instead defines a specific point. This gives it versatility in spaces where different environments coexist.

FARO is a Spanish brand with a track record in interior lighting design. Its products combine durable materials with lines designed to integrate into real domestic environments, without complicating installation or everyday use.

Installation and specifications

Before installing this ceiling lamp, make sure the anchor point on the ceiling can support the weight of the assembly. Cut the power at the electrical panel before handling any cables. The suspension cable has a length of up to 2000 mm, allowing the height to be adjusted according to the space. If the room has low ceilings, it is advisable to shorten the cable at the time of installation so that the oval shade sits at the appropriate height. It is recommended that the assembly be carried out by a person with basic knowledge of electricity.

For surface care, a dry or slightly damp cloth is sufficient. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the satin black steel finish. Do not touch the bulb with bare hands while it is on. Always use an LED bulb compatible with an E27 base and a maximum power of 15 W.

Design and use

The TATAWIN lamp has a steel structure with a satin black finish. The material provides solidity without adding excessive weight: 1.67 kg in total, which makes ceiling fixing straightforward without the need for special reinforcements in most cases. The oval metal shade directs light downward cleanly, without allowing it to disperse sideways or upward.

The design is linear and restrained. There are no added decorative elements, no crystal, no glass, no other materials. The entire body is black steel, which gives it visual coherence and makes it easy to combine with other elements in the space. In a living room with dark furniture or neutral tones, this pendant lamp becomes part of the whole without drawing too much attention to itself. In a lighter space, it acts as a subtle contrast.

In a dining room, the pendant lamp above the table defines the gathering area. The oval shade concentrates light exactly where it is needed, on the table surface, without leaving the rest of the room in shadow if other lights are on. The adjustable cable height allows the distance between the shade and the table to be set according to individual preference.

In the kitchen, a ceiling lamp with focal light helps illuminate specific work areas: the countertop, the central island, or the space above the breakfast table. The satin black finish holds up well to everyday use and is easy to clean with a cloth.

In a bedroom, the pendant lamp can replace bedside lamps when hung on either side of the bed. The focal light and oval shade prevent glare from disturbing rest. The lamp's sober profile does not visually overload the room.

In a generously sized bathroom or in a hallway, this ceiling lamp can be used as the main light source if the space allows. Its universal voltage between 100 V and 240 V makes it compatible with electrical installations in different countries, which is useful if the property has particular characteristics.

Compatibility with an E27 LED bulb allows the colour temperature to be chosen according to the desired atmosphere. Warm light produces a more intimate result; neutral or cool light is more suitable for work areas. The lamp does not include a bulb, so that decision is left to whoever installs it.

The style of TATAWIN can be described as classic with industrial influence. The oval shade is reminiscent of workshop or factory lights repurposed for domestic use, a style that today fits many types of modern interiors, from renovated apartments to homes with a mix of materials such as wood, iron, or exposed brick.

Questions and answers

Does the TATAWIN lamp include an E27 LED bulb?

No, the bulb is not included. The lamp is compatible with an E27 LED base and accepts a maximum power of 15 W. It is necessary to purchase the bulb separately before installing it.

Can the suspension cable be shortened for low ceilings?

Yes. The cable has a length of up to 2000 mm, allowing the height to be adjusted during installation. For spaces with low ceilings, the cable length can be reduced so that the oval shade sits at the appropriate height without interfering with movement.

Is the satin black finish on the body resistant to daily use?

The body is made of steel with a satin black finish, a material that holds up well under the conditions of a domestic interior. To keep it in good condition, simply clean it with a dry or slightly damp cloth and avoid products with abrasive components.
