Installation and specifications

Design and use

The shade of this pendant lamp has an oval shape, with a diameter of 290 mm. It is a size that works well over standard dining tables or above a kitchen island, without taking up too much visual space. The oval shape distributes light downward in a concentrated manner, making it particularly useful when you want to illuminate a specific area without the need for additional lights.

The body is made of steel with a matte black finish, while the outer shade features a matte green finish. This color combination is not common, and that is precisely what makes the lamp stand out in an interior without the need for other striking elements. The matte green provides a clear visual presence, but without glare that might tire the eye or distort the perception of the space.

Questions and answers

Is the support rod straight or does it have a special shape?

The rod is not straight. It has a shape that mimics a tree branch, which is the main characteristic of the STUDIO collection. That organic geometry sets this luminaire apart from other ceiling pendants with a conventional rod.

Is the 290 mm diameter suitable for a standard dining table?

For a dining table seating 4 to 6 people, 290 mm is a functional size. It illuminates the central area well without projecting shadows outside the table area. If the table is larger, it can be combined with other complementary lights.

Is the matte green finish on the body resistant to friction or can it scratch easily?

Matte finishes on steel are more sensitive to direct contact than glossy finishes. It is recommended to clean the lamp with a soft, dry cloth, avoiding rubbing hard. Do not use abrasive or damp products on the surface.
