Installation and specifications

Before installing this pendant lamp, check that the existing ceiling point has adequate capacity to support the weight of the assembly. The fixture is attached directly to the ceiling using the included canopy. It is recommended that the electrical installation be carried out by a qualified electrician, especially if there is no prepared outlet at the desired point. Adjust the cable length before securing the canopy so that the lamp hangs at the height you need.

To keep the lamp in good condition, clean the steel structure with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that may damage the matte white or matte black finish. Always disconnect the power before any cleaning or handling of the bulb. Do not exceed the maximum indicated wattage when choosing the LED light source.

Design and use

The STUDIO collection starts from a simple premise: that classic does not have to look old. The STUDIO M pendant lamp works with basic geometric shapes and a restrained color palette — matte white on the exterior and matte black on the body — to achieve a result that effortlessly adapts to contemporary interiors.

The structure is made of steel, which gives it solidity without adding excessive weight. At 0.75 kg net weight, it is a lightweight luminaire within its category. The 160 mm diameter and 291 mm height make it a medium-sized piece, oval in its overall silhouette, which does not take up too much visual space but does create a clear focal point.

The most distinctive element is, without doubt, the stem that holds the cable. The lamp does not include a bulb, so there is room to choose the one that best suits each use. A warm-light bulb reinforces the vintage character of the design; a neutral-light one steers it more toward a modern and functional atmosphere.

The lights in this collection are designed for permanent interior installations, fixed to the ceiling at a fixed point. The accepted voltage ranges from 100V to 240V, making it compatible with the standard electrical installation in Spain and most of Europe.

Questions and answers

Is the cable support stem purely decorative or does it also serve a structural function?

The stem serves both functions. It supports the pendant lamp cable and at the same time defines the most characteristic visual element of the STUDIO collection. Its shape reproduces the outline of a tree branch and forms an integral part of the structure of the assembly.

Is the 160 mm diameter sufficient to illuminate a standard dining table?

This ceiling lamp is designed as a focal light point, not as a general lighting source. For a dining table, it can be combined with other ambient lights or used as a complement. In smaller spaces or above two-person tables, it can work as the main lighting.

Can the matte black finish on the body deteriorate over time in normal interior environments?

The steel body with matte black finish is resistant under normal interior use conditions. To keep it in good condition, simply clean it with a dry cloth and avoid contact with aggressive chemical products.
