Installation and specifications

For installation, this pendant lamp requires direct ceiling mounting via the included canopy. If the ceiling does not have an electrical junction box, an electrician must prepare one before installation. The lamp accepts voltages between 100 V and 240 V, making it compatible with the standard electrical grid in Spain and the rest of Europe. No bulb is included; an E27 LED type of up to 15 W is recommended.

The papyrus shade should not be cleaned with damp cloths or liquid products. For maintenance, a dry cloth or a soft brush to remove accumulated dust is sufficient. The matte black steel body can be cleaned with a slightly damp cloth, without abrasive products. Before performing any cleaning or changing the bulb, disconnect the lamp from the power supply.

Design and use

The SAIGON IN lamp starts from a simple idea: building a compact, oval shade from interwoven papyrus strips. The result is a piece that draws attention through its texture, not its volume. The oval shape with a 700 mm diameter occupies the visual space well without blocking the sense of openness in the room.

The beige papyrus filters light softly. When the lamp is on, light passes through the weave and creates a diffuse atmosphere, without harsh focal points or abrupt contrasts. Questions and answers

Is the lamp cable adjustable in height or does it have a fixed length of 1875 mm?

The total indicated height is 1875 mm and includes the cable and the shade. Many pendant lamps allow part of the cable to be coiled inside the canopy to reduce the hanging height. If you need to adjust the length, check the included instructions or consult an electrician before installation.

Does the papyrus shade hold up well in rooms with humidity, such as the bathroom or kitchen?

Papyrus is a natural material that has not been treated for high-humidity environments. Installing this lamp in the bathroom or in kitchen areas where steam is frequent is not recommended. It is better suited for the living room, bedroom, dining room, or well-ventilated spaces.

Is the lamp compatible with standard LED bulbs commonly available on the market?

Yes. The socket is E27, which is the most common on the market. It accepts LED bulbs of up to 15 W. Since no bulb is included, you can choose the color temperature that best suits the atmosphere you are looking for in each room.
