Overview

The FARO four-light pendant lamp is a suspension luminaire designed for the ceiling, intended for both residential spaces and businesses and restoration projects. Its dark grey aluminium structure and opal glass diffuser give it a neat and understated character, adapting to different environments without imposing a specific style.

The model is signed by Nahtrang for FARO, a brand with years of experience in interior lighting. The combination of materials and the light treatment make this pendant work well where warm, evenly distributed lighting is needed, without shadow areas or annoying glare.

What sets this lamp apart is its flexibility. Thanks to the included hook accessory, it can be relocated without having to reinstall the light point. This makes it a practical option for those who are still defining the layout of a space or for those who know that the use of a room may change over time.

Installation and specifications

Before installing the lamp, check that the anchor point on the ceiling is secure and capable of supporting the weight of the assembly. Since the cable has a considerable length, it is advisable to plan in advance the final height at which the luminaire will hang. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician, and it is mandatory to disconnect the power before any handling of the wiring. This lamp is compatible with voltages between 100 V and 240 V, so it does not require adapters in most domestic installations.

To clean the aluminium body, use a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the dark grey finish. The glass diffuser can be cleaned with a soft cloth; remove it carefully if possible and make sure the lamp is switched off and cool before touching it. Do not exceed the indicated maximum power of 15 W per light point.

Design and use

This four-light pendant lamp has an oval and proportioned presence that fits in large dining rooms, kitchens with a central island, double-height living rooms or even in a bedroom where a more enveloping lighting is desired. Its elongated shape and dark grey finish integrate well with concrete, dark wood or metal surfaces, without requiring the rest of the interior design to follow a particular style.

The opal glass diffuser serves a very specific function: it softens the light before it reaches the space. Instead of direct light points, a diffuse illumination is obtained that fills the room evenly. This reduces eye strain and creates a warmer atmosphere, especially in the evening hours or in spaces without direct natural light.

The aluminium structure provides relative lightness for the size of the assembly, and its dark grey finish holds up well over time without losing presence. This is not a lamp that ages, but one that stays the same from the very first day.

The hook accessory is a detail not always found in lamps of this type. It allows the luminaire to be hung at different points on the ceiling without the need for a fixed installation, which is especially useful in premises that change use, spaces under construction or homes where the final layout has not yet been decided. For restoration projects or businesses such as cafés, shops or work studios, this ability to be relocated can make a difference.

Compatibility with E27 screw cap LED bulbs ensures energy efficiency without depending on special formats. Although the bulb is not included, finding an E27 LED presents no difficulty. With four active lights, the lamp provides sufficient illumination for a long dining table, a good-sized kitchen or a living room without other complementary light sources.

As for bathrooms or areas with humidity, this lamp is designed for dry interiors. However, in a bedroom or in a passage area such as a wide hallway, it can work very well as the main lighting piece if the ceiling is high enough. Its oval silhouette and clean-lined design mean it does not compete visually with other decorative elements; it is simply there and fulfils its function.

Questions and answers

Does the hook accessory allow the lamp to be installed without any structural work on the ceiling?

Yes. The hook is designed to hang the lamp from an existing anchor point on the ceiling, which avoids having to create a new fixing. Even so, it is necessary to have an electrical point nearby to connect the wiring safely.

Can the opal glass diffuser be replaced if it breaks?

For any enquiries about spare parts or component replacement, it is best to contact FARO's customer service directly, as it depends on the specific model and stock availability at any given time.

Does this four-light pendant lamp accept bulbs of any wattage with an E27 cap?

No. The maximum accepted power is 15 W per light point. Exceeding that limit may damage the luminaire or cause an electrical hazard. It is recommended to use E27 LED bulbs that do not exceed that power.
