Overview

The FARO pendant lamp is a solid option for those looking for ceiling suspended lighting with a clean design and quality materials. Its structure combines aluminum and beech wood with a dark gray finish, giving it a defined character without feeling overloaded. The opaline polycarbonate diffuser distributes light evenly and creates a warm atmosphere in any room.

Designed by the Nahtrang studio for the FARO brand, this pendant lamp fits well in both modern interiors and spaces with a more natural touch. Thanks to the included hook accessory, it is possible to adjust the position of the light according to the needs of the space without depending on a fixed anchor point. FARO is a Spanish brand with years of experience in interior lighting, and this piece reflects its approach to combining functionality with careful aesthetics.

Installation and specifications

For installation, an electrical power point on the ceiling is required. It is recommended that the work be carried out by a qualified electrician. The hook accessory is included and allows the lamp to be positioned without the need for complex installation. Before connecting, make sure that the available voltage is compatible with the indicated range. The lamp does not include a bulb, so an E27 LED type bulb with a maximum power of 15 W must be purchased separately.

For cleaning the aluminum and wood body, a dry or slightly damp cloth is sufficient. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that may damage the finish. The polycarbonate diffuser can be cleaned with a soft cloth. Always disconnect the lamp from the power supply before handling or cleaning it. Do not expose the beech wood to direct humidity or sudden temperature changes.

Design and use

This ceiling pendant lamp has an oval shape that sets it apart within the range of suspension lights. The opaline polycarbonate diffuser does not allow direct visibility of the bulb, which prevents glare and produces a diffuse and pleasant light. The beech wood that forms part of the body adds visual warmth to the whole and contrasts well with the dark gray of the aluminum.

The oval silhouette of the lamp means it integrates easily into spaces where a light point with presence but without excess is sought. In a dining room, placed above the table, it defines the space without taking up too much visually. In a kitchen, it can work above the island or counter as a functional and decorative light at the same time. It does not need to be the main feature of the ceiling to fulfill its function well.

In a room or bedroom, this type of pendant provides ambient light that is not harsh. The atmosphere generated by the opaline diffuser is calm, ideal for spaces where relaxation is sought. It also works in a medium-sized living room, especially if the rest of the furniture has natural materials or neutral tones.

The 3000 mm cable allows the height to be adjusted freely. In high ceilings, the lamp can be left to hang lower, accentuating its presence in the space. In lower ceilings, it is shortened or gathered so that it sits at a comfortable height. This flexibility is useful when installed in floors with different heights or in spaces with beams.

The combination of aluminum and beech wood means the lamp fits well in interiors with Nordic design elements, in kitchens with light wood furniture, or in dining rooms with wooden tables. It can also be integrated into spaces with a more modern style where a warm contrast point is sought. The oval and compact shape — 185 mm in diameter — makes it suitable for moderately sized spaces without appearing disproportionate.

The included hook adds versatility to the installation. Not all pendant lamps allow this option, and in this case it makes it easier to position the light exactly where it is needed, without depending on the cable being perfectly centered with respect to the ceiling point.

In spaces such as a bathroom with adequate ventilation, as long as it is installed in areas away from direct humidity, this lamp can add a different touch to that offered by standard recessed lighting. The modern look of the dark gray body and the warmth of the wood create a combination that adapts to varied contexts. Also in hallways with a clear ceiling it can function as a focal light point with its own character.
