Installation and specifications

For installation, a ceiling light point with an accessible junction box is required. Given the weight of the unit —4.1 kg— it is advisable to ensure that the ceiling anchor can support that load. It is recommended that installation be carried out by a qualified electrician. The lamp accepts voltages between 100V and 240V, making it compatible with the standard electrical grid in Spain and most countries. E27 LED bulbs are not included and must be purchased separately, with a maximum power of 15 W per light point.

For maintenance, simply clean the aluminium body with a soft, slightly damp cloth. The glass diffuser can be cleaned with a dry cloth or specific glass-cleaning products, avoiding abrasive materials that could scratch the surface. Always disconnect the lamp from the power supply before handling or cleaning it. Do not exceed the maximum power indicated for each light source.

Design and use

The structure of this pendant lamp is made of aluminium with a matte white finish. It is a material that adds no visual weight to the ensemble while at the same time ensuring solidity and durability. The matte white colour integrates easily into neutral or light-palette interiors, and does not compete with other decorative elements in the space.

The opal glass diffuser is the component that defines the character of this lamp. Unlike transparent glass, opal filters light and disperses it uniformly. This is particularly noticeable in rooms where a calm atmosphere without harsh contrasts is sought. With a length of up to 2000 mm and an adjustable cable height of up to 4000 mm, the lamp can be installed in high ceilings without losing presence. In double-height spaces or open-plan floors, this adjustment range allows the light point to be lowered to the area of use, maintaining the visual balance of the room.

Nahtrang's design for FARO favours a modern and restrained aesthetic. This is not a lamp that is ornate in the classic decorative sense, but rather a functional form that fits both Nordic interiors and more neutral or contemporary settings. The absence of superfluous decorative elements means the piece can coexist with wooden furniture, industrial finishes, or more minimalist interiors without generating dissonance.

In a bedroom with a sufficiently high ceiling, it can function as the main light point when combined with warm-colour-temperature LED bulbs. In a large bathroom —always outside direct wet zones— it would provide more diffuse and enveloping lighting than traditional spotlights.

Questions and answers

Does the hook accessory allow the horizontal position of the lamp to be adjusted relative to the ceiling anchor point?

Yes. The included hook allows the pendant to be shifted laterally without modifying the electrical installation. It is useful when the ceiling light point does not coincide with the exact centre of the table or the area to be illuminated.

Is the opal glass diffuser resistant to impacts, or does it require special care during assembly?

Opal glass is more fragile than the aluminium body, so it should be handled carefully during installation. It is recommended not to rest it on hard surfaces and to remove it before anchoring to the ceiling if possible on this model.

Does the lamp accept any type of bulb with an E27 fitting, or are there power restrictions?

It accepts LED bulbs with an E27 fitting, but the maximum power per light point is 15 W. It is not recommended to exceed that limit in order not to strain the installation or reduce the lifespan of the components.
