Design and use

The LINA lamp by FARO has a body made of aluminium with a black finish. Aluminium is a material that combines lightness and strength, which allows the pendant lamp to be manageable during installation and stable once fitted to the ceiling. The conical shade, made of translucent polycarbonate, directs light downward in a concentrated manner. Is the LINA lamp suitable for installation in a bathroom?

The product specifications do not indicate an IP protection rating for damp environments. Therefore, installing this pendant lamp in a bathroom or in areas with high humidity or direct water splashing is not recommended.

Does the oval body of the conical shade affect light distribution?

The circular section of the translucent diffuser directs the light beam primarily downward. This concentrates the illumination in the lower area, which is practical above tables or worktops, although it does not illuminate laterally to a wide extent.
