Installation and specifications

For installation, a ceiling light point with existing wiring is required. As this is a pendant lamp with a multiple canopy, it is recommended that a qualified electrician carries out the ceiling fixing, especially to correctly distribute the weight across the seven arms. Check that the building's wiring supports the indicated voltage before connecting. The lamp does not include bulbs, so you will need to purchase seven E27 socket units with LED technology, with a maximum power of 15 W per point.

To keep the lamp in good condition, clean the steel body with a dry or slightly damp cloth. The papyrus shades must not be wetted or cleaned with chemical products. Avoid placing the lamp in areas with high humidity. Do not exceed the maximum power indicated for each lamp holder.

Design and use

The CONGA pendant lamp by FARO has a clear visual presence without the need for exaggerated shapes. The multiple canopy organises the seven lights into a composition that covers the space well without concentrating on a single point. This is especially useful in large rooms where a single central lamp does not distribute light evenly.

The matte black steel structure is discreet but solid. It does not accumulate fingerprints easily and maintains its appearance with very little maintenance. The white papyrus shades are the element that gives character to this pendant lamp. Questions and answers

Can the 5000 mm suspension cable be shortened to adjust the installation height?

Yes. The included cable measures 5000 mm, but during installation it can be gathered and fixed at the height you need. It is common with pendant lamps of this type to adjust the length according to the ceiling height or the desired distance from the table or floor.

Do the papyrus shades significantly alter the quality or intensity of the emitted light?

Papyrus diffuses light instead of blocking it or projecting it directly. This softens the lighting and reduces glare, but it means that part of the intensity is distributed diffusely throughout the space. If you need very directed or intense light, this material is not the most suitable. For creating atmosphere in a living room or dining room, it works very well.

How many bulbs do I need to buy and what type does this lamp accept?

The lamp has seven light points with an E27 socket. Bulbs are not included. Each lamp holder accepts a maximum power of 15 W. The use of LED bulbs with that socket is recommended to make better use of energy consumption and service life.
