Installation and specifications

Before installing the wall light, make sure to cut the power at the electrical panel. This wall light is fixed directly to the wall using the included anchors. Since this is an outdoor lamp, it is worth checking that the connection box in the wall is properly sealed against moisture. The total weight is 1.7 kg, so the mounting surface must be in good condition. If you have any doubts about the wiring, it is advisable to seek help from an electrician.

Design and use

The POMO wall light has a square proportion — 220 mm high by 220 mm wide — with only 82 mm of depth from the wall. This means it does not protrude too much, does not cast harsh shadows, and adapts well to spaces with frequent foot traffic, such as entrances or outdoor corridors.

The dark grey aluminium body does not draw excessive attention. It is a neutral tone that works well alongside both light-coloured walls and darker surfaces. Aluminium as a material has the advantage of being lightweight and durable, making it especially suitable for a lamp designed for outdoor use.

The transparent glass diffuser is one of the most defining elements of this luminaire. Unlike opaque or frosted diffusers, this one allows you to see inside the wall light. As for combining with other elements, the dark grey finish of the wall light works with materials such as treated wood, concrete, stone, or exposed brick. It is not a piece that imposes a specific style — rather, it adapts to the surroundings without competing with them.

The universal voltage between 100V and 240V allows it to be installed without concern on any standard domestic electrical network. The motion sensor is not integrated into this model, so the activation of the light depends on the usual switch or any home automation system you already have at home. If your installation includes an external motion detector, POMO is compatible with that type of configuration as long as the wiring is set up for it.

The total weight of 1.7 kg is moderate for an outdoor aluminium luminaire. The wall does not require any special reinforcement — it is enough for the support to be in good condition and the anchors to be properly fixed.

Questions and answers

Does the POMO wall light include the E27 LED bulb?

No, the bulb is not included. You need to purchase separately a bulb with an E27 socket and a maximum power of 15 W. You can choose the type of LED light you prefer according to the colour temperature you are looking for in your garden or terrace.

Does this wall light have a built-in motion sensor?

No, the POMO model does not incorporate a motion sensor. The lamp is switched on and off using a conventional switch. If you want to automate activation by motion, you can connect it to an external detector already installed in your electrical system.

Can the transparent glass diffuser break easily when used outdoors?

The transparent glass of POMO is integrated into an aluminium structure that physically protects it. For cleaning, a soft cloth is sufficient. It is not designed for direct impacts, so it is advisable to install it in areas where there is no risk of frequent knocks.
