Installation and specifications

Before installing this ground spike, make sure the area where you are going to place it is free of cables, pipes, or thick roots. The spike is inserted directly into the ground, so it is advisable to loosen the soil beforehand if it is very compacted. Plan the cable routing before driving the piece in, as moving it afterward can damage the connections. If you are going to install several bollards in a line, mark the positions in advance to maintain uniform spacing. Electrical installation must be carried out by a qualified professional.

Clean the aluminum body with a damp cloth and, if necessary, with a neutral detergent. Avoid abrasive products or those containing acids that may affect the matte black finish. The PMMA diffuser is cleaned in the same way, without rubbing with hard materials. Design and use

PICCOLA has a slim, vertical profile that takes up almost no visual space. With a height of 605 mm and a base of 120 x 120 mm, it is a proportionate spike that adapts to both large gardens and more confined areas, such as an interior patio or a terrace with pots and decorative elements.

The body is made of aluminum, a material that holds up well to continuous outdoor exposure. It does not rust with humidity and maintains its structure in the face of temperature changes. The matte black finish does not reflect ambient light, which means the luminaire goes unnoticed during the day and, at night, the only protagonist is the beam of light it emits.

The diffuser is made of PMMA with an opal finish. This type of diffuser softens the light output and prevents direct glare. The light is distributed evenly, which is especially useful when the spotlight is directed toward a plant or decorative element that is to be highlighted without creating overly harsh light zones.

The light source is a 6W SMD LED with a color temperature of 2700K. That temperature corresponds to a warm light, similar to that of a candle or a traditional incandescent bulb. This tone is favorable for nighttime outdoor environments because it adds warmth to the garden without creating a cold or clinical feel. The lamp is included, so there is no need to purchase anything additional to get it up and running.

In a patio with a gravel or wood floor, the contrast between the black body and the floor surface is almost imperceptible during the day, but the nighttime effect can completely change the perception of the space.

Yes, the 6W SMD LED light source is included. There is no need to purchase any additional bulb to install and use the luminaire.

Is the 2700K color temperature suitable for illuminating plants or decorative elements in the garden?

2700K corresponds to a warm light that enhances the visualization of natural textures, such as leaves, tree bark, or stone. It is a common temperature in decorative outdoor lighting projects precisely for this reason.

Does the opal PMMA diffuser hold up well to continuous outdoor exposure?

PMMA is a material with good resistance to outdoor exposure. It does not degrade quickly with solar radiation or humidity, and maintains its optical properties during prolonged use under normal outdoor conditions.
