Installation and specifications

For installation, it is necessary to prepare the recess in the wall with the indicated dimensions before fixing the wall light. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician. The wiring remains hidden inside the wall, ensuring a clean finish with no visible elements. Verify that the installation voltage is compatible with the product values before connecting it.

For maintenance, simply clean the surface of the wall light with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that may damage the dark grey finish. Do not handle the interior of the spotlight while it is connected to the electrical mains.

Design and use

The POMA wall light has a square format measuring 114 mm on each side, with a depth of 57 mm. These dimensions allow it to be installed in walls with standard partition thickness, without the need for special construction work. The body is made of aluminium, a material that combines strength with low weight. The finish is in dark grey, a neutral tone that adapts well to concrete, stone, stucco, or modern exterior cladding surfaces.

The diffuser is made of transparent polycarbonate. This material holds up well to outdoor conditions: temperature changes, humidity, and continuous exposure without deforming or yellowing over time. The light passing through the diffuser is distributed directly, clearly marking the illuminated area on the wall or on the nearby ground.

The SMD LED light source is included as standard. With 3W of power, it produces sufficient light to mark pathways, indicate access points, or complement architectural elements without being excessive. It is not a high-projection spotlight, but rather an ambient and orientation light. It fits well next to the entrance of a home, on the sides of a terrace, or on the walls that border a garden or patio.

Changing the color temperature is one of the most practical features of this wall light. The recessed switch is accessible without needing to open the luminaire. Selecting 2200K gives a very warm light, close to the tone of a flame, suitable for relaxed or decorative atmospheres. At 2700K the light remains warm but slightly brighter. At 3000K it offers a warm neutral white, common in passageways where visibility is sought without coldness. At 4000K it provides a neutral white light, more functional, useful on facades or access areas where clarity is the priority.

As for the use environment, the POMA outdoor wall light works well in projects where formal discretion is important. It does not visually compete with other elements of the facade. During the day it is almost unnoticeable, integrated into the wall. At night, the light it emits defines the space without overwhelming it. It is a spotlight that complements other larger wall lights well, or can be repeated in series along a wall or a long surface to create an ordered sequence of light.

The dark grey color of the body pairs well with materials such as exposed concrete, natural stone, composite cladding, or dark outdoor wood. It also works well on walls painted in neutral or cool tones. If the surrounding materials are warmer, the grey finish provides a sober counterpoint that often proves to be well-balanced.

The reduced weight of the wall light, less than 400 grams, makes it easy to handle during installation. The motion sensor is not part of this model, although the wall light can be combined with external control systems depending on the installation. The integrated lamp and recessed design make POMA a complete solution from the outset, with no need for additional accessories.

Is the color temperature switch accessible after installing the wall light?

Yes. The switch is recessed in the luminaire itself and can be operated without removing the wall light from the wall. It allows you to switch between 2200K, 2700K, 3200K, and 4000K directly.

Is the aluminium body with a dark grey finish resistant to outdoor weather conditions?

Aluminium is a common material in outdoor luminaires due to its resistance to corrosion and temperature changes. The dark grey finish is applied for use in outdoor conditions.

Is the LED light source included or does it need to be purchased separately?

It is included as standard. The wall light incorporates a 3W SMD LED source ready to operate from the moment of installation, with no need to purchase any additional lamp.
