Design and use

The TRAS is a recessed floor spotlight designed for outdoor use. Its structure combines aluminium and ABS, two materials that offer mechanical resistance without adding excessive weight. The transparent glass diffuser allows light to exit without interference, with a colour temperature of 3000K that produces a warm tone, suitable for night-time environments.

The matte black finish of the body allows the spotlight to blend discreetly into most pavements: stone, concrete, technical wood, dark porcelain. During the day it barely draws attention. At night, it fulfils its function clearly.

This luminaire is particularly well suited to gardens where a path needs to be marked without installing posts or lampposts. Placed at floor level, it guides the eye along a path without interrupting the visual line of the space. On a terrace with a uniform floor surface, several recessed luminaires aligned in a row create clean signage that also adds atmosphere.

On facades with steps or level changes, the recessed luminaire helps to identify edges with precision. The 40º aperture concentrates the beam upward or in the direction determined during installation, making it useful both for signage lighting and for highlighting vertical elements such as nearby walls or vegetation.

Can the TRAS be installed without a frame on any type of outdoor pavement?

Yes, the design allows installation with or without a frame. Without a frame, the recessed luminaire sits flush with the ground and integrates better into continuous pavements. With a frame, mounting is easier on surfaces with joints or irregular materials.

What does it mean for this recessed luminaire to have IP67, and in which outdoor situations is it relevant?

IP67 indicates that the luminaire is protected against dust ingress and can withstand temporary immersion in water. Outdoors, this is important in areas with frequent rain, sprinkler irrigation or water accumulation on the ground around the spotlight.

Yes, the 25W SMD LED is already incorporated into the product. There is no need to purchase an additional light source. You only need to ensure you have a 24VDC power supply compatible with the installation.
