Installation and specifications

Before installing this recessed floor light, check that the chosen area allows excavation of the necessary depth to house the body without it being exposed. When working with 24V DC, installation requires a suitable transformer that is not included with the fixture. Design and use

FALLS has an elongated and discreet silhouette. Its 500 mm length allows light to be distributed in a wide strip from the ground, which sets it apart from circular recessed spotlights that concentrate the beam at a single point. That rectangular format fits well in linear pavements, path edges, or garden walls where a direction needs to be marked without resorting to visible lampposts or projectors.

The body is made of 316L stainless steel, a material that withstands coastal environments and prolonged exposure to moisture well. It does not rust easily and maintains its satin finish for years without requiring special maintenance. The satin stainless finish gives a neutral appearance that does not compete with other outdoor elements: it integrates with paving, stone, or wood without drawing attention.

The opal glass diffuser softens the LED emission and prevents direct glare. When the fixture is on, what you see is a uniform luminous surface, not an intense point of light. 316L stainless steel has greater corrosion resistance than standard steels, making it especially suitable for environments with high salinity or persistent humidity. This is one of the reasons FARO uses it in outdoor luminaires.

Does the IP65 protection cover installation in areas where the floor is watered with a hose?

Yes. The IP65 rating implies total protection against dust and resistance to direct water jets. The recessed light can be installed in patios, gardens, or terraces where the floor gets wet regularly without this affecting the performance of the fixture.
