Installation and specifications

For installation, a 24 V DC power supply is required, which is not included with the lamp. It is recommended that installation be carried out by a qualified electrician, especially given the voltage type and outdoor conditions. Before hanging the lamp, verify that the structural ceiling support is adequate.

Design and use

The CLAP pendant lamp by FARO is built in aluminium, a material that holds up well in outdoor conditions without adding unnecessary weight to the structure. Does this pendant lamp need a special power supply to work?

Yes. The CLAP luminaire operates at 24 V DC, so it requires an external power supply with that voltage. This power supply is not included with the lamp and must be purchased separately. It is important to bear this in mind before installation.

Are the LED modules already installed in the lamp, or do they need to be fitted separately?

The COB LED light source is already included. It is not necessary to purchase additional bulbs or modules to get the luminaire up and running.

Is it possible to add an accessory to reduce glare on this outdoor lamp?

Yes. The CLAP system is compatible with the anti-glare visor with reference 75714-2, which can be incorporated into the system's spotlights to improve visual comfort in areas where people are directly beneath the lights.
