Installation and specifications

Preparation and installation. Before placing the spotlight in the ground, check that the area is free of buried cables or pipes. The stake is inserted into firm ground or compact substrate. Connect the cable to a protected outdoor socket suitable for open-air use. If the ground is very hard, moisten it slightly to facilitate insertion without forcing the structure. The angle of the spotlight can be physically adjusted once installed to direct the light exactly where needed.

Use and maintenance. Clean the body of the spotlight with a damp cloth and no abrasive products. The PC diffuser may accumulate dust over time; simply remove it with a soft cloth to maintain light quality. Do not disassemble the unit while it is connected to the power supply. Although the IP65 rating protects against rain, avoid submerging the spotlight or leaving it in areas with standing water for extended periods.

Design and use

The SAU 471 is a spotlight designed for those who want to give visual presence to their garden without resorting to complex solutions. Its stake format makes it a very practical option: you do not need special tools or installation knowledge to set it up. You simply insert it into the ground, orient the head and connect the cable.

The body is made of aluminium combined with ABS, a combination that balances strength and lightness. The aluminium provides solidity against temperature changes and prolonged outdoor exposure, while the ABS allows a uniform matte black finish that does not clash with vegetation or construction materials. The total weight of 1.67 kg makes the spotlight stable in the ground without being difficult to handle during installation.

The integrated COB LED light source offers a compact and uniform emission. This type of technology concentrates several light points on a single surface, resulting in a cleaner beam with fewer intermediate shadows. Questions and answers

Can the SAU 471 spotlight be installed on hard ground or gravel?

Yes, although on very compact ground it may be necessary to moisten the area before inserting the stake. On coarse gravel, it is recommended to remove a small amount of material to facilitate insertion and ensure the spotlight remains firm and properly oriented.

What type of light source does it include and can it be replaced?

The spotlight incorporates an integrated 13W COB LED light source. As it is a fixed LED included in the unit, it is not designed to be replaced by the user. In the event of a light source failure, please contact customer service.

Is IP65 protection sufficient for climates with frequent rain?

Yes. The IP65 rating indicates that the spotlight is completely protected against dust and resists water jets from any direction. It is suitable for outdoor use throughout the year, including areas with regular rainfall.
