Overview

This wall light was born from a simple idea: let the bulb speak for itself. No shades to cover it, no structures to distract. The focus falls directly on the light source, and that gives this lamp a character of its own in any space.

The wall light is designed by Faro Team, the creative team behind the FARO brand, based in Spain with decades of experience in interior lighting. Their products combine functionality with aesthetic criteria, and this model is no exception.

It is a lamp that fits many contexts: a bedroom looking for a clean touch, a hallway where space is limited, a living room with a defined style, or even a kitchen where visual presence is desired without overwhelming. Its matte black finish gives it an elegant yet understated look.

Installation and specifications

When installing this wall light, its reduced weight and compact dimensions are worth keeping in mind. The mounting process is straightforward: the wall light is fixed to the wall using the included bracket, connecting the internal wiring to the existing electrical circuit. It is recommended that installation be carried out by an electrician or a person with basic electrical knowledge. Before starting, make sure to cut the power at the electrical panel. The compatible voltage ranges from 100 V to 240 V, making it suitable for standard domestic installations in Spain and Europe.

The aluminium with matte black finish does not require special products for maintenance. A dry or slightly damp cloth is sufficient to remove accumulated dust. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the surface. Do not clean the wall light with the bulb on or with the circuit connected.

Design and use

The body of this wall light is made of aluminium, a material that combines lightness and durability. Weighing just 0.2 kg, it mounts to the wall without the need for complicated anchors or additional reinforcements. Its dimensions are very compact: 70 mm high, 60 mm long and 60 mm deep. This makes it a valid option even in spaces where there is not much room.

The matte black finish is one of the strongest points of this lamp. It is not a glossy black that collects fingerprints, nor a colour that looks heavy on the wall. It is a matte, discreet tone that integrates well with white, grey or neutral-toned surfaces. It also works as a contrast on dark or textured walls, where the wall light gains visual presence without being intrusive.

The design is conceived so that the bulb is the centre of attention. There is no shade, no diffuser. The bulb is exposed, and that gives the lamp a character that blends the functional with the decorative. It is a style that fits within what is commonly called minimalist or industrial design, though not in a rigid way. Depending on the bulb chosen, the result can vary considerably: a filament LED bulb provides a warm and visually interesting tone, while a more understated option gives a more neutral light.

In the living room, this wall light can be placed at mid-height on a side wall to complement the main lighting. It does not replace a ceiling lamp, but adds layers of light that make the space more pleasant. In the bedroom it works as a reading lamp or ambient light beside the bed, freeing the bedside table from any additional lamp. In the bathroom, if installed in a dry area with appropriate electrical protection, it can be used on the sides of the mirror for more direct lighting on the face.

In the kitchen, a wall light of this type can define a work area or add a point of light in a zone that the general lighting does not cover well. In hallways, where space tends to be narrow, its depth of just 60 mm prevents it from protruding too far from the wall. In the dining room, placed on a wall close to the table, it provides a more intimate light than that of the ceiling.

The combination of black aluminium with a filament LED bulb creates a result that is reminiscent of industrial lighting without fully being so. It is modern enough to fit in contemporary interiors and sober enough not to clash in more classic spaces. If the environment includes elements of wood, metal or earthy tones, this wall light integrates effortlessly.

It is worth noting that the bulb is not included. It must be purchased separately, with an E27 base and a maximum wattage of 15 W. This also gives room to choose the type of light that best suits each room or specific need.

Questions and answers

Is the wall light compatible with any type of E27 bulb, or are there wattage restrictions?

The wall light accepts bulbs with an E27 base and a maximum wattage of 15 W. It is recommended to use an LED bulb that does not exceed that limit to ensure correct and safe operation.

Does the 100 V–240 V voltage range mean I can use it outside Spain?

Yes. The supported voltage range covers both European installations and those of other countries with different standards, so the wall light works without an adapter in most markets.

What type of installation does this wall light require to be fixed to the wall?

The wall light connects directly to the wall wiring. It does not run on batteries or a visible cable. It is recommended that installation be carried out by a person with basic electrical knowledge or a professional.
