Installation and specifications

For installation, this wall light requires an electrician or someone with basic electrical knowledge. Before starting, always cut the power supply from the main switch. The fixture mounts directly on the wall, with no recessed box required. Check that the surface is solid and can support the weight of the wall light. Use plugs and screws appropriate for the type of wall: drywall, brick or concrete each require different materials.

The lamp has an integrated light source, so no additional bulb needs to be purchased. Once the wall light is installed, do not handle it with wet hands or expose it directly to jets of water.

For cleaning, use a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. The matte white steel body can be cleaned easily. The opal glass diffuser can be cleaned more carefully with a lint-free cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the finish. Do not clean the wall light while it is on or immediately after switching it off.

Design and use

The SIDE 390 has a steel structure with a matte white finish. The shape is square, with dimensions of 390 x 390 mm at the base and 110 mm in depth. The unit is compact and sits flush against the wall without protruding too much. This makes it suitable for narrow hallways or bedrooms where visual order is to be maintained.

The diffuser is made of opal glass. This material filters the LED light and spreads it gently throughout the room. There are no bright spots or annoying reflections. The colour temperature is 3000K, which corresponds to warm light, similar to that of a traditional incandescent lamp. This tone creates a calm atmosphere, useful for both the living room and the bedroom or the interior of a hallway.

In the kitchen, this wall light can serve as supplementary lighting in areas where the main light does not reach well. In the living room, placed at mid-height on the wall, it helps to create different light planes that give depth to the space. In a narrow hallway, its flat profile allows it to be installed without interfering with passage.

The modern design of the wall light makes it compatible with contemporary interiors, but it also fits well in more neutral or mixed environments. Matte white is a finish that does not draw attention on its own, but pairs effortlessly with both light and dark furniture. Can the opal glass diffuser break during transport or installation?

Opal glass is the material used for the diffuser of this lamp. Like any glass element, it requires careful handling during installation. The individual 2.4 kg packaging is designed to protect the product during shipping.

Is this wall light suitable for installation inside a bathroom?

The SIDE 390 wall light is designed for indoor use. If you wish to install it in a bathroom, you must first verify with an electrician that the installation area complies with the safety regulations for that environment.
