Overview

The NOVO wall light by FARO is a wall lamp designed for those seeking a functional and discreet lighting solution. Its matte beige finish fits effortlessly into interiors where visual calm is desired, without elements that draw too much attention. The front panel, which tilts in three positions, allows the light to be directed according to the specific need of each moment, something not all wall lights offer. It can be installed either horizontally or vertically, which broadens the possibilities of use in different areas of the home.

FARO is a Spanish brand with a long track record in indoor and outdoor luminaires. Their products combine structural solidity with careful design, conceived to adapt to different types of interiors without imposing on them.

Installation and specifications

To install this wall light, it is recommended to switch off the electrical circuit before starting any work. Since the fixing is directly onto the wall, it is advisable to check the type of surface beforehand and use the appropriate wall plugs. The metal body is lightweight, so the anchoring does not require special reinforcements. The possibility of horizontal or vertical mounting requires confirming the orientation before marking the final fixing points, as the cable outlets vary depending on the chosen position.

For surface maintenance, a dry or slightly damp cloth is sufficient. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the matte beige finish. The included LED lamp does not require frequent replacement. If any anomaly in the electrical operation is detected, it is recommended to disconnect the wall light and consult an electrician before continuing to use it.

Design and use

The NOVO wall light is a wall lamp made of steel, with a matte beige finish that gives it a clean and uniform appearance. The surface, free of excessive shine, allows the lamp body to integrate well into light-colored walls or environments where neutral and natural tones predominate. It does not distract; it simply fulfills its function and does so with discretion.

One of the most practical details of this wall light is its tilting front panel. It can be adjusted in three different positions, allowing the light to be directed upward, downward, or more horizontally depending on what is needed in each room. This is especially useful in spaces such as the bedroom, where at some moments a more overhead light is preferred for reading, and at others a more diffuse illumination for the general ambiance.

The wall light can be mounted on the wall either horizontally or vertically. This installation flexibility is useful when the available space conditions the placement, as occurs in narrow hallways or in areas where other elements are nearby. In a vertical position, the lamp takes up less width and can fit between frames or moldings. In a horizontal position, the light is distributed differently and provides a slightly different visual presence on the wall.

The color temperature of 2700K corresponds to a warm light, close to that of a traditional bulb. This type of light is suitable for spaces where relaxed time is spent, such as the living room or bedroom. In the kitchen and dining room it also works well, as this warm tone makes food and surrounding materials look natural and pleasant. It is not a light that tires the eyes or feels cold to the visual touch.

With a power of 5 W, consumption is low. The included SMD LED light source is ready to operate from the very first moment, without the need to purchase anything additional. This type of LED has a long lifespan, which reduces the need to intervene on the lamp for years.

The NOVO wall light also fits in the bathroom, as long as the installation area is not directly exposed to water. In bathrooms, wall lights are usually placed on the sides of the mirror, where the warm 2700K light is very flattering. In hallways, one or more of these lamps can create an ordered light sequence that improves both orientation and the sense of spaciousness.

The matte beige finish combines without difficulty with materials such as light wood, textiles in earthy tones or off-whites. It can also accompany other wall lights or lamps from the same range to create coherent lighting at different points in the home. The design does not respond to a strongly defined aesthetic, which gives it versatility to coexist with Nordic, minimalist, or more traditional interiors.
