Overview

LUNA is a wall light designed for those looking for a simple, clean, and long-lasting lighting solution. Its square shape and ribbed white finish make it a good fit in spaces where visual order matters. It doesn't draw too much attention, but it doesn't go unnoticed either: it's designed to complement the environment without complicating it.

This lamp works well in bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, or hallways. In any room where direct light on the wall is needed without resorting to complex installations. The wall light mounts directly onto the vertical surface, with no additional structures, and takes up little space thanks to its compact dimensions.

FARO is a Spanish brand with a track record in interior lighting. Their products combine functionality with careful design, intended for everyday home use.

Installation and specifications

To install this wall light, an existing electrical connection point on the wall is required. As a surface-mounted luminaire, it is fixed directly onto the wall without the need for recessing or making additional channels. It is recommended that installation be carried out by a qualified electrician, especially if there is no prior experience with electrical connections. Before starting assembly, disconnect the power at the electrical panel. Check that the wall can support the weight of the wall light, although at just 0.2 kg, this is rarely an issue on standard surfaces. The GU10 LED bulb is not included, so you will need to purchase it separately before operating the luminaire.

To keep the lamp in good condition, clean the surface with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the white finish of the body. Do not touch the bulb directly with your fingers when it is hot. Periodically check that the wall light remains securely fixed to the wall and that there is no looseness at the anchor points.

Design and use

The body of LUNA is made of aluminium and steel, two materials that provide solidity without adding unnecessary weight. The result is a lightweight yet stable wall luminaire, with a ribbed white finish that adds texture without overloading the overall look. That texture is one of the details that sets it apart: it is not a completely smooth surface, but rather has a subtle relief that captures light in a particular way and gives it some visual depth.

Its dimensions are compact: 100 mm high, 80 mm wide, and 65 mm deep. This makes it especially useful in narrow hallways, small bathrooms, or any room where the space between the wall and the clear passage is limited. In those areas, a wall light with a lot of depth can be inconvenient. LUNA doesn't have that problem.

In the bedroom, this wall light works well as bedside lighting or as a complement to central lighting. Mounted at the right height, it provides functional light without the need for table lamps that take up space on the nightstand. In the dining room it can be used to accentuate a specific area, for example next to a sideboard or on a side wall, adding a light point that reinforces the atmosphere without being the main focus.

In the kitchen, where functionality is a priority, this wall light fulfils its role efficiently. Its square design and white colour fit easily with light-coloured furniture, neutral-toned worktops, or tiled walls. It does not interfere visually with the surroundings, but does provide light where it is needed.

The bathroom is another space where LUNA fits naturally. The white of the body harmonises with the sanitary ware, tiles, and surfaces typical of this type of room. It can be placed on either side of the mirror for more balanced facial lighting, or at another point on the wall where direct light is needed. Also in shared bathrooms, where the durability of the material is something that proves its worth over time.

In terms of style, LUNA adapts to modern interiors as well as more neutral spaces where visual order and cleanliness are sought. Its square shape has a certain discreet elegance that does not impose a specific style, but instead follows the lead of the rest of the space. It can coexist well with materials such as light wood, smooth surfaces in white or grey, or even with more distinctly designed elements, as it does not compete visually with them.

Compatibility with a GU10 LED bulb makes it an energy-efficient option. This type of light source offers good light quality with low consumption, and has a long lifespan, meaning fewer replacements over time.
