Overview

LUNE is a wall light designed for those looking for a simple, well-finished lighting solution. The lamp fits well in spaces where you want to add light without the fixture drawing too much attention, while at the same time not going unnoticed. The ribbed black finish gives it a defined character: it is not a generic wall light, but a piece with its own identity.

This lamp works well in the bedroom, living room or hallway. It can also be used in the bathroom, as long as the minimum required distance from water sources is verified in accordance with applicable regulations. Its compact size means it adapts to walls where available space is limited.

FARO is a Spanish brand with a track record in the interior lighting sector. Its products combine functionality with careful design, conceived for real domestic use.

Installation and specifications

Before installing the wall light, make sure the electricity supply has been cut off at the distribution board. This wall light is fixed directly to the wall, so it is advisable to locate a solid point at which to anchor the screws, avoiding installation on thin partition walls or materials that do not provide sufficient grip. The lamp uses a GU10 socket, which is not included in the package, so you will need to purchase it separately before putting the wall light into operation. A LED bulb compatible with the indicated socket and with a maximum power of 8W is recommended.

To clean the wall light, a dry or slightly damp cloth is sufficient. Avoid using abrasive products or solvents that may damage the black finish. Do not handle the lamp while it is switched on or connected to the power supply. If you notice any problem with the wiring or the structure of the wall light, consult an electrician before using it again.

Design and use

The LUNE wall light has a body made of aluminium and steel, two materials that provide strength without adding excessive weight. Weighing just 0.25 kg, it is easy to handle and install. Its dimensions — 155 mm high, 80 mm long and 65 mm deep — make it a lamp with a contained profile, which does not protrude too much from the wall or take up too much visual space.

The ribbed black finish is one of the elements that make this wall light recognisable. The ribbed texture is not merely aesthetic: it also gives the lamp body a tactile and visual presence that sets it apart from flat surface wall lights. Black, for its part, is a colour that coexists effortlessly with a wide variety of interiors: white, grey, earthy-toned walls, or even those with wood cladding or industrial-style materials.

In the bedroom, this wall light can be placed on either side of the headboard as an alternative to bedside table lamps. It frees up the bedside tables and gives a sense of order to the room. The light is directed precisely thanks to the GU10 socket, which allows the beam to be oriented as needed in each case.

In the living room, the LUNE wall light can work as an accent light or as a complement to central lighting. Placed above a piece of furniture, a bookcase or in a dimly lit corner, it adds warmth without saturating the atmosphere. In rooms with clean-lined or modern-style décor, it fits in naturally.

In hallways and passageways, a lamp of these characteristics serves a practical function: providing light without installing a ceiling fixture. Several wall lights can be placed in a row along a hallway to achieve uniform lighting throughout the space. The result is tidy and visually coherent.

In the bathroom, the wall light can be installed above the mirror or on the side wall, always respecting the safety zones in accordance with regulations. It provides supplementary light that complements other lighting sources in that space well. In bathrooms with dark finishes or matte materials, the black of the wall light integrates without creating a harsh contrast.

The kitchen and dining room are also spaces where this type of wall light makes sense. In the kitchen, it can be used above work areas to reinforce lighting at specific points. In the dining room, placed on the wall next to the table, it adds lateral light that changes the perception of the space and creates a different atmosphere from overhead lighting.

Compatibility with voltages between 100V and 240V means this wall light can be used in different installations without the need for adapters. The GU10 LED socket is a very widespread standard, so finding a replacement bulb is straightforward at any lighting store.
