Overview

The FARO wall light is a wall lamp designed for those looking for a functional and discreet lighting solution. Its articulated arm allows you to direct the light beam exactly where it is needed, making it a practical option for reading areas in a bedroom, living room, or any corner where concentrated, warm light is desired.

The integrated 3000K LED technology offers warm light that is easy on the eyes. There is no need to search for or buy a bulb separately, as the light source is included. The aluminum and steel body in a matte black finish is compact and solid, with a net weight of just 0.29 kg.

FARO is a Spanish brand with decades of experience in indoor and outdoor lighting. Their products combine careful design with quality materials, and are intended to integrate naturally into different types of domestic environments.

Installation and specifications

Before installing the wall light, make sure the wall is free of pipes or hidden wiring in the anchoring area. Wall mounting requires disconnecting the power supply from the corresponding circuit beforehand. It is recommended that installation be carried out by a qualified electrician, especially if there is no existing light point at the desired location. The wall light operates at standard voltage of 220V–240V.

To keep the wall light in good condition, simply clean the surface with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive products or solvents that may damage the matte black finish. Avoid dust accumulation in the joints of the articulated arm, as this may affect mobility over time. Do not handle the lamp while the power is connected.

Design and use

This FARO wall light has a clean-lined design that adapts well to contemporary interiors. The matte black finish on aluminum and steel gives it presence without appearing overdone. It is the type of luminaire that does not distract, but fulfils its function well and fits into a wide range of decorative styles, from the most minimalist to those with an industrial character.

The articulated arm is one of the most useful features of this lamp. It allows the head to be moved in different directions to adjust the angle of the light depending on the moment or activity. This is especially practical in a bedroom, where sometimes direct light is needed for reading and other times a more ambient lighting directed toward the wall is sufficient. In a living room, it is also convenient to be able to redirect the beam without moving anything else.

The warm 3000K light is suitable for spaces where a relaxed atmosphere is desired. This colour temperature is associated with a sense of calm, and is a good choice for rooms where time is spent reading or resting. Unlike cool lights, which can feel harsh in domestic spaces, this lamp produces a tone closer to traditional incandescent light.

The wall light can also work well in hallways, where the low wattage of this lamp is usually sufficient. In narrow hallways, a wall light takes up less space than a ceiling lamp with a bulky body, and the articulated arm allows the direction of the light to be adjusted to avoid glare when passing through.

In a bathroom, provided it is installed outside areas of direct humidity, it can be used as supplementary light near the mirror area or next to an auxiliary piece of furniture. For the bathroom, it is advisable to consult the applicable installation regulations regarding safety zones beforehand.

In spaces such as the dining room or kitchen, this type of wall light works well as supplementary lighting. In a dining room, it can be placed above a sideboard or next to a reading area near the table. In a kitchen, it serves to illuminate a specific work point or a decorative area of the room, without the need to modify the main lighting.

The low weight of the wall light, less than 300 grams, makes installation easier even on walls made of lightweight materials, provided the appropriate fixings are used. Its compact dimensions make it suitable for small spaces where room is limited.

Questions and answers

Does the articulated arm allow the light to be directed in multiple positions or does it only move on one axis?

The articulated arm of this wall light allows the direction of the light to be adjusted flexibly. It can be oriented to concentrate the beam downward, toward the wall, or diagonally, depending on the position set at any given time.

Is the included LED light source replaceable if it breaks?

The lamp incorporates an integrated HIGH POWER LED. In the event of a fault, we recommend contacting us to assess the most appropriate solution.

Is the matte black finish on the body resistant to fingerprints or does it require frequent cleaning?

The matte black finish may show marks over time, especially on the areas of the arm that are handled to adjust the position. An occasional wipe with a dry cloth is sufficient to keep the wall light looking in good condition.
