Overview

KALE is a wall light with an articulated arm and LED technology, designed to illuminate precisely where it is needed most. The lamp adjusts to different positions thanks to its movable arm, making it a practical solution for reading in the bedroom or for creating ambient light in the living room. The switch integrated into the base allows it to be turned on and off without getting up or looking for the wall switch.

The matte black finish gives it a clean, discreet look that fits well in both modern interiors and spaces with a simpler style. The lamp takes up no space on tables or surfaces, as it is fixed directly to the wall.

FARO is a Spanish brand with a track record in the lighting industry. Its products combine functionality with careful design, intended for everyday home use.

Installation and specifications

To install this wall light, it is recommended to switch off the electricity before beginning assembly. The fixing point must be on a firm surface, preferably using plugs and screws appropriate for the type of wall. If you do not have experience with electrical installations, it is advisable to seek the help of an electrician.

To clean the lamp, a dry or slightly damp cloth is sufficient. Abrasive products should not be used, and no part should be submerged in water. Avoid touching the LED module directly when the light is on or has just been turned off.

Design and use

The KALE wall light is built from aluminium and steel, two materials that combine lightness and durability. The unit weighs less than one kilogram, making installation straightforward without the need for complex anchoring. The matte black finish avoids reflections and holds up well over time without losing its original appearance.

The articulated arm is the defining feature of this lamp. It allows the light beam to be directed wherever it is needed at any given moment: over a book, towards a specific area of the room, or slightly towards the wall to create a more diffused light. This flexibility is especially useful in the bedroom, where a fixed light does not always meet all the user's needs.

The colour temperature of 3000K produces a warm light, similar to that of traditional bulbs. This type of light is pleasant for relaxing, reading before sleep, or spending time in spaces where intense illumination is not desired. In the living room, for example, it can be used as a supplementary light alongside other light points, creating a calm atmosphere without relying on the main ceiling light.

The switch on the base is a detail that makes a difference in daily use. The wall light operates independently from the room's general circuit, allowing the light to be controlled individually without the need to install an additional mechanism on the wall.

As for its placement, this wall light can integrate well in hallways where ambient light tends to be scarce. A lamp of these characteristics, positioned at the right height, illuminates the passage without creating glare. It can also work in the bathroom as supplementary lighting, provided it is installed in an area away from water and direct humidity.

In the dining room, the KALE wall light can be placed next to a sideboard or above a side reading area, adding functional lighting without overshadowing the main light point. The lamp does not draw excessive attention, but accompanies the space in a balanced way.

The LED module is included and does not require replacement under normal conditions of use. With 3 W of power, energy consumption is low. The light it produces is sufficient for everyday tasks without generating excessive heat or disturbing anyone sleeping in the same room.

The design of the wall light is compact: 380 mm in height and 100 mm in length mean it takes up little space on the wall. This makes it a suitable option for small spaces as well, such as bathrooms or narrow hallways, where larger lamps might seem disproportionate.

Questions and answers

Is the LED module included in the KALE wall light replaceable if it stops working?

The wall light incorporates an integrated HIGH POWER LED module. Under normal conditions of use, it is not designed to be replaced by the user. If the LED were to develop a problem, it is recommended to contact the customer service team.

Is the 3000K colour temperature suitable for reading without straining the eyes?

Light at 3000K has a warm tone, similar to that of a traditional bulb. It is comfortable for reading in the bedroom or living room, especially during short sessions or in relaxed environments. It is neither a cold nor an intense light, making it pleasant for night-time use.

Does the base switch operate independently from the room's main switch?

Yes. The KALE wall light has its own switch on the base that allows the lamp to be turned on or off without needing to use the wall switch. This makes it easy to use as an individual light point in the bedroom or other rooms.
