Installation and specifications

Installing this wall light requires access to an electrical supply point in the area of the wall where it will be mounted. Since it incorporates an integrated light source, no additional lamp holder is required. It is recommended that installation be carried out by a qualified electrician. Before any work, make sure to switch off the power at the electrical panel. The wall must have sufficient capacity to support the weight of the wall light.

To clean the lamp, use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive products or liquids that could damage the matte black finish or the PMMA diffuser. Do not handle the wall light while the power is connected.

Design and use

The HAN wall light has an elongated, clean form, with a matte black steel body that integrates effortlessly into walls with neutral colours or interiors with darker references. At just over a metre in length, it has a strong presence without feeling visually heavy. The opal PMMA diffuser distributes light evenly, with no hot spots or harsh contrasts.

The colour temperature of 2700K produces warm light, close to the tone of a traditional bulb. It is the kind of light that works well in a bedroom or living room, where cold or task lighting is not desirable, but rather something that accompanies without straining the eyes. In the kitchen it can also work well if installed in a transitional or ambient area, although not as the primary task light.

What sets this wall light apart is that it incorporates a coat hook function. Can the HAN wall light really be used as a coat hook as well as a lamp?

Yes. The design of HAN structurally integrates both functions: the body of the wall light is conceived to withstand use as a coat hook without compromising its function as a wall luminaire. It is part of the original concept by Goula/Figuera, not a secondary addition.

Is the LED light source included or does it need to be purchased separately?

The SMD LED light source is integrated into the wall light and is included. There is no need to purchase any additional bulb or adapt the lamp holder. The wall light is ready to connect once the electrical installation has been completed.

How far does the wall light protrude from the wall and how much space does it take up in depth?

The depth of the wall light is 66 mm, so it protrudes approximately 6.6 cm from the wall. This is a moderate measurement that allows it to be installed in hallways or rooms without the wall light significantly encroaching on the circulation space.
