Overview

FRAME is a wall light by manufacturer FARO, designed specifically for interior lighting. Its steel structure with a matte nickel finish and its beige shade give it a clean and understated look, fitting well in both private bedrooms and professional spaces such as hotel rooms.

What sets this lamp apart is the integrated button on the base. There is no need to move to the wall switch or rely on the room's wiring: the control is on the lamp itself, within easy reach. It is a detail designed for real convenience, especially in the bedroom, where that small gesture at the end of the day makes all the difference.

FARO is a brand with a long track record in interior and exterior lighting. Its products combine functionality with aesthetic judgement, and are designed for both residential installations and interior design and hospitality projects.

Installation and specifications

To install this wall light, a power point on the wall at the desired height is required. Fixing is done directly onto the surface, so it is advisable to verify beforehand that the support is firm. It is recommended that electrical installation be carried out by a qualified professional, especially if it involves modifying existing wiring. The compatible voltage ranges from 100 V to 240 V, allowing use in different contexts without additional adapters.

To clean the lamp, a dry or slightly damp cloth is sufficient. Abrasive products or solvents should not be used on the matte nickel finish or on the beige shade. Before any cleaning or handling, make sure the lamp is switched off and disconnected. The E27 LED bulb is not included and must be purchased separately, respecting the indicated maximum power of 15 W.

Design and use

The FRAME wall light by FARO is a surface-mounted wall lamp with a sober and well-executed design. The combination of steel in a matte nickel finish with the beige shade creates a visually balanced whole, without ostentation. It is not a lamp that seeks to draw attention to itself, but one that accompanies the space without distorting it.

In the bedroom, this wall light works especially well as a reading light or ambient lighting beside the bed. The integrated button on the base eliminates the need to get up to turn off the light, something that in practice is more appreciated than it might seem. The beige shade softens the light and prevents direct glare, which is comfortable in a space designed for rest.

In hospitality projects, such as hotel rooms, this lamp meets the sector's usual requirements well: discreet design, durable materials and simple operation for the user. The wall light is a common solution in this type of installation because it takes up less space than a table lamp and does not interfere with the furniture layout.

Although it is primarily conceived for the bedroom and accommodation environments, this lamp can also find its place in other areas of the home. In the living room, a wall light of this type can complement general lighting, providing a more localised zone of light. In the dining room, it can be used to reinforce the atmosphere without relying solely on a central lamp. In hallways, where space is limited and ceiling lighting is not always sufficient, a wall light like this adds warmth without taking up room. In the bathroom, provided the installation is carried out in compliance with the safety zones established by electrical regulations, it can be integrated beside the mirror as supplementary lighting.

The matte nickel finish gives the structure an elegant presence without being showy. It does not reflect excessively, making it compatible with modern, minimalist or Nordic-style interiors. The beige shade, for its part, evokes a more classic and welcoming aesthetic, meaning this wall light can fit into environments with different decorative styles.

The compatible light source is E27 LED, a standard fitting easy to find in any shop. As the bulb is not included, the user can choose the colour temperature that best suits their space: warm light to create atmosphere, neutral light for work or reading areas. The maximum admitted power is 15 W, sufficient for functional lighting in medium-sized spaces.

With dimensions of 176 mm in height, 190 mm in length and 280 mm in depth, the wall light has a moderate size that does not take up too much visual space on the wall. Its net weight of 1.67 kg is manageable, although it is advisable to ensure the fixing is secure depending on the type of wall where it is installed.

Questions and answers
