Overview

The DUAS wall light by FARO is a circular-shaped wall lamp with a matte black finish. It is designed to be placed next to the bed, in a hallway, in the bathroom, or in any corner where reading light is needed without taking up space on the nightstand or the floor. Its design integrates a USB-C port and a small rear tray, which makes this wall light more than just a simple light source: it is a discreet charging point that keeps the phone close and tidy while it recharges.

FARO is a Spanish brand with decades of experience in indoor and outdoor lighting. Their products combine functionality and refined aesthetics, and are commonly found in home renovation projects where a clean and lasting result is sought.

Installation and specifications

To install this wall light, a nearby power outlet is required, or the wiring must be run from the wall to the mounting point. It is recommended that installation be carried out by a qualified electrician. Before starting, make sure to cut the power at the electrical panel. It is fixed directly to the wall using anchoring elements appropriate for the surface type, whether drywall, brick, or concrete.

To clean the lamp, simply wipe the steel surface with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Abrasive products or solvents that could damage the matte black finish should not be used. It is advisable to turn off the wall light and let it cool before cleaning. The USB-C port and internal electrical components should not be exposed to moisture.

Design and use

The DUAS wall light has a compact circular shape that adapts well to spaces where the wall is the only available place for a lamp. In the bedroom, for example, it replaces the bedside lamp without taking up any space on the side table. It is fixed to the wall at the most comfortable height for reading or for having ambient light near the bed. The warm 2700K light creates a calm atmosphere, without the harshness of cooler tones.

In the bathroom, this wall light can be installed next to the mirror or in the sink area to provide more direct and functional lighting. The circular shape and matte black finish fit well with modern styles or with design elements in black, white, or grey. It does not feel cluttered or overly eye-catching: it is simply there and does its job.

In hallways, the lamp takes up very little depth — just 65 mm — making it suitable even in narrow passageways. Its small size does not diminish its visual presence: the black circle on the wall has character without being excessive.

The kitchen and dining room are also spaces where this wall light can make sense, especially when a localised light source is needed in a work or reading area. In the kitchen, installed above a countertop or food preparation area, it provides light exactly where it is needed most. In the dining room, it can complement the main lighting by creating a more intimate atmosphere in a specific corner.

What sets this wall light apart from other similar models is the integration of the USB-C port and the rear tray. This tray, although small, is very practical in the bedroom: it allows the phone to rest on it while charging, without falling to the floor or taking up space on the nightstand. It is not a flashy accessory, but those who use it notice the difference in their day-to-day life.

The steel body in matte black is durable and easy to maintain. The matte finish does not show fingerprints as visibly as glossy finishes, making it more practical in frequently used areas. The COB LED light source is already included, so there is no need to buy a bulb separately or worry about compatibility.

The 2700K colour temperature produces warm white light, close to the tone of traditional incandescent lamps. It is a light that does not cause eye strain, suitable for nighttime reading or for creating a relaxed atmosphere in the room at the end of the day. With only 3W of power, energy consumption is very low, something that is noticeable in the long run on the electricity bill.

This wall light operates with voltages between 100V and 240V, making it compatible with the standard electrical installation in Spain and in most countries. No additional transformers or adapters are required.
