Overview

DANTE is an orientable wall light designed for spaces where light needs to work with precision. A bedroom where you read before sleeping, a hallway where you need direction without glare, a reading corner that requires concentrated lighting without taking up space on the desk. The lamp mounts directly onto the vertical surface and allows you to direct the beam exactly where needed.

The minimalist geometric design is not just an aesthetic decision. That shape makes it easy to adjust the head with one hand, effortlessly. The matte white body integrates without drawing attention, something that in a room with light-colored walls has more value than it might seem.

FARO is a Spanish brand with years of experience in interior lighting. Their products are designed for real domestic use, without unnecessary complexity in installation or maintenance.

Installation and specifications

To install this wall light, you need an electrical outlet on the wall or recessed wiring at the point where it will be fixed. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician. Before starting, the power must be cut at the main panel. The wall light does not include a bulb, so a compatible SMD LED light source with the appropriate cap must be purchased before first use. It is advisable to check that the wall support is firm and that the screws are well anchored, especially on plaster or drywall surfaces.

To clean the lamp, simply use a soft, slightly damp cloth. Abrasive products or solvents should not be used on the matte white finish, as they can damage the surface. Before any cleaning, always disconnect the power supply. Do not touch the bulb with bare hands while it is on. This wall light is designed for indoor use, in dry or normally humid spaces.

Design and use

The DANTE wall light has a very compact profile. With 240 mm in height, 50 mm in length and 80 mm in depth, it takes up little space on the wall and does not interfere with the rest of the furniture. This makes it especially useful in rooms where every centimetre counts: small bedrooms, narrow hallways, bathrooms with a tight layout.

The body is made of aluminium and steel, two materials that combine lightness with strength. The matte white finish avoids reflections and holds up well over time. It does not accumulate fingerprints easily and requires no special attention beyond occasional cleaning.

The SMD LED technology incorporated in this lamp offers a colour temperature of 2700K, which translates into a warm light, similar to that of a traditional incandescent bulb. This tone is especially suitable for the bedroom, where a cool light would be too stimulating. It also works well in the living room, when you want to create a more intimate atmosphere without relying solely on central lighting.

The orientability of the head is one of the features that sets this wall light apart from fixed models. In a reading area, it allows the beam to be focused directly on the book without the light disturbing other people in the room. In a hallway, it can be adjusted to illuminate the floor or a specific area of the wall. In the bathroom, it can serve as supplementary lighting next to the mirror, angled to avoid shadows on the face.

The design fits easily into Nordic-style interiors, spaces with neutral finishes or rooms with clean-lined furniture. The matte white does not impose any particular style, which gives freedom when combining it with other decorative elements. It works equally well on a wall painted in a plain tone as on a textured surface.

In the dining room, a pair of lights of this type on either side of a central piece can complement the main lighting and add depth to the space. In the kitchen, placed above a work area, they provide directed light without the need to install a strip or a recessed spotlight. The 3W power is sufficient for supplementary or ambient lighting; it is not designed to replace the main light source in a large room.

The reduced weight of the wall light, less than 400 grams, makes fixing easier and does not require reinforced anchoring in most conventional domestic walls.

Questions and answers

Is the LED bulb included with the DANTE wall light?

No, the light source is not included. It must be purchased separately. The wall light is compatible with SMD LED bulbs. It is advisable to check the cap type before purchasing.

What colour temperature does the light emitted by this wall light correspond to?

The colour temperature is 2700K, which produces a warm, soft light. It is the tone closest to traditional incandescent light, suitable for bedrooms, living rooms and rest areas.

Can the head of the DANTE wall light be adjusted after installation?

Yes. The design of the wall light allows the direction of the beam to be adjusted once mounted on the wall, without the need for tools. This orientability is one of its main features and makes it useful in reading or work areas where the light needs to point to a specific spot.
