Overview

The DANTE wall light by FARO is an adjustable LED wall lamp designed for those seeking precise and discreet lighting in the bedroom, living room, or any corner used for reading or resting. Its head can be directed wherever needed, effortlessly, adjusting the light beam with a simple turn.

The design is geometric and compact. It takes up little space on the wall and does not draw attention to itself, making it a convenient option for modern interiors where visual order matters. The lamp integrates without creating unnecessary contrast with the rest of the surroundings.

FARO is a Spanish brand with a long history in indoor and outdoor lighting. Its products combine technical criteria with attention to formal detail, and are present in residential projects throughout Europe.

Installation and specifications

To install this wall light, it is recommended to have a power outlet or recessed wiring near the mounting point. The lamp is attached directly to the vertical surface using the included anchors. Before starting the installation, it is necessary to cut the power supply from the main panel. If you do not have experience with electrical installations, the safest option is to hire a certified electrician.

The aluminum and steel surface in matte black finish is cleaned with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Abrasive products or solvents that could damage the finish should not be used. The LED light source is not included, so it must be purchased separately before using the lamp.

Design and use

The DANTE wall light has an elongated body 240 mm tall and just 50 mm wide, made of aluminum and steel with a matte black finish. That combination of materials gives it solidity without adding weight: the whole unit weighs less than 300 grams, which makes installation easier and reduces the demand on the wall.

The orientation of the head is one of the most practical aspects of this lamp. In the bedroom, it allows you to direct the beam directly toward a book or screen without disturbing the person sleeping beside you. In the living room, it can point toward a painting, a shelf, or any spot that deserves a little more visual attention. That adjustability makes the wall light more than just a fixed light point.

The color temperature is 2700K, which corresponds to a warm light, similar to that of a traditional incandescent bulb. This type of light creates a relaxed atmosphere and promotes rest, making it especially suitable for the bedroom or living areas where calm is sought at the end of the day. In the living room, that tone adds warmth without overwhelming the space.

The matte black finish works well in interiors with neutral palettes or with elements of light wood, exposed concrete, or metal. It does not reflect ambient light, giving it a uniform and clean appearance under any lighting condition. It is a wall light that fits in without needing to adjust the rest of the décor.

In narrow hallways, where space is limited and lighting needs to be functional, this wall light delivers without standing out. The 80 mm depth means it does not encroach on the passageway, and the slim silhouette does not cast uncomfortable shadows. In the bathroom, provided the installation complies with safety regulations for damp areas, it can work as supplementary lighting next to the mirror or above a washbasin area.

The kitchen and dining room are spaces where a lamp of this type can illuminate work areas or complement a table without competing with the central lighting. In the dining room, placed at the right height on the wall, it can create a secondary light layer that adds depth to the atmosphere. In the kitchen, directed toward the countertop, it acts as precise, well-directed task lighting.

The DANTE wall light is also an interesting option for small rooms or those with low ceilings, where a ceiling lamp with a bulky body would not fit. By occupying only the wall, it frees up the upper plane and makes the space visually more open. In a multi-purpose room, that difference is noticeable.
