Installation and specifications

To install this wall light correctly, it is recommended to have basic electrical knowledge or to hire an electrician. The fixture mounts directly on the wall, with no recessed box required. Before starting installation, disconnect the power at the electrical panel. Check that the wall can support the weight of the wall light and that the existing electrical point is properly anchored. FARO recommends pairing this lamp with decorative bulb Ref. 17071E for the best aesthetic result.

For cleaning, use a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the matte black finish of the aluminium body. Do not clean the rattan shade directly with water. Remove dust regularly using a soft brush. Do not touch the bulb when it is on or has just been switched off.

Design and use

The COSTAS wall light has an aluminium structure with a matte black finish that holds a rattan shade. The combination of these two materials is what defines the character of the lamp: the metal provides solidity and a more contemporary touch, while the rattan brings the design closer to a more natural and warm aesthetic. The bulb is exposed inside the shade, visible from certain angles, turning the light itself into part of the visual effect.

In the living room, it works well as ambient light on either side of a sofa or next to a fireplace. Can the COSTAS wall light be installed in a bathroom or in areas with humidity?

The technical data sheet does not specify an IP protection rating, so it is not classified for installation in shower or bathtub areas. In general-use bathrooms, consult an electrician to confirm whether the installation point meets the electrical safety requirements for damp areas.

What type of bulb is compatible with this wall light?

The wall light uses an E27 LED bulb with a maximum wattage of 15W. The bulb is not included. FARO recommends decorative bulb Ref. 17071E to achieve the visual effect that characterises the COSTAS collection.

Is it possible to install several COSTAS wall lights together to create a wall composition?

Yes, the collection is specifically designed for that purpose. According to the manufacturer's information, COSTAS allows you to create clusters both on the ceiling and on the wall, combining several units in a single installation.
