Overview

The LINK table lamp, designed by Estudi Ribaudí for FARO, is a piece that fits well in a living room, a bedroom, or on a bedside table. Its contemporary style and bronze finish make it an object that does not go unnoticed, but neither does it distract. It is the type of lamp that integrates into the environment effortlessly.

FARO is a Spanish brand with decades of experience in lighting. Its products combine careful manufacturing with a clear focus on domestic use. LINK is a good example of this: clean form, solid materials, and a size that works in real spaces.

If you are looking for a table lamp to refresh a corner of your living room or to complete a bedroom nightstand, this option deserves attention. It works with a GU10 LED bulb, which means you can choose the light temperature that best suits the atmosphere you want to create.

Installation and specifications

Before using the lamp, make sure the GU10 LED bulb is correctly installed. The lamp does not include a bulb, so you will need to purchase one separately. Place the lamp on a stable, flat surface. The cable should remain free of tension and away from high-traffic areas. Do not install it near heat sources or in spaces with high humidity.

To clean the steel body with bronze finish, use a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the finish. Do not clean the lamp with the light on or while it is connected to the power supply. Periodically check the cable and base to make sure everything is in good condition.

Design and use

The LINK lamp has a steel structure with a golden bronze finish that gives it a defined character without appearing overdone. The golden tone of the metal integrates well with natural woods, earth-toned textiles, and marble or stone surfaces. It also contrasts in an interesting way with darker finishes, such as a matte black desk or a walnut bedside table.

With a height of 460 mm and a length of 220 mm, it is a lamp with balanced proportions. It fits well on a bedside table without taking up too much space, and it has enough presence not to get lost on a shelf or on a large desk. Its depth of 56 mm indicates a discreet silhouette, designed not to project too far into the surrounding space.

The design is by Estudi Ribaudí, a studio with a recognized track record in the lighting design sector. The LINK collection reflects a contemporary and modern approach: straight lines, no unnecessary ornamentation, with attention to detail in the finishes. It is not a lamp that tries to draw attention with striking forms. Its value lies in formal coherence and in how it behaves within a decorative ensemble.

In the bedroom, this lamp works especially well on the bedside table. It provides directed and warm light — depending on the bulb you choose — ideal for reading before sleep or for creating a relaxed nighttime atmosphere. Its height of 46 cm is suitable for placing it beside the bed without being either too tall or too short.

In the living room, it can occupy a spot on a console table, a side table, or a low piece of furniture. Combined with other metallic elements in golden or bronze tones, it reinforces a coherent aesthetic. It also works well on a home desk, where it provides direct light without taking up much space on the work surface.

Compatibility with modern GU10 LED bulbs is a practical advantage. This type of bulb is easy to find, has low energy consumption, and a long lifespan. Furthermore, being a very widespread standard, you can vary the color temperature depending on the room: warmer for the bedroom or bedside table, more neutral for the desk or dining room.

The weight of 1.21 kg indicates a robust yet manageable construction. It is not a fragile or excessively light lamp. The steel body ensures that the structure maintains its shape over time, without deformation or visible deterioration of the finish if properly cared for.

This lamp can work on its own as a complementary light source or as part of a set. In a dining room, for example, two symmetrical units on a side console can create an orderly and balanced effect. In a bedroom, a single lamp on the bedside table is already enough to define the atmosphere.
