Overview

The FARO CLICK LED is a wall recessed light designed to work as a reading light next to the headboard. Its mechanism is simple: when you open the reader, the lamp turns on; when you close it, it turns off and becomes completely integrated into the wall. No switches to look for, no visible cables. The light disappears when not in use, and appears just when needed.

It is a solution designed for the bedroom, where lighting needs to be functional without disrupting rest or the look of the space. The round shape and matte white finish allow this recessed light to go unnoticed on the wall during the day. At night, it provides a warm light of 2700K, which accompanies reading well without being harsh on the eyes.

FARO is a Spanish brand with a long history in interior lighting. Its products combine careful design with durable materials, intended to integrate into real renovation and home decoration projects.

Installation and specifications

To install this wall light, it is necessary to create a recessed box that accommodates the product's dimensions. It is recommended to have an electrician handle the connection to the electrical circuit. Before starting, make sure to cut the power at the electrical panel. The product is compatible with voltages between 100V and 240V, so it does not require adapters in standard domestic installations.

For maintenance of the light, simply clean the surface with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive products or solvents that could damage the aluminum finish. The LED lamp is included and does not require regular replacement due to its integrated design.

Design and use

The CLICK LED sits flush in the wall and stays there, without drawing attention. It is a round recessed light with a diameter of 115 mm and a depth of 60 mm. The body is made of aluminum with a matte white finish, giving it a clean appearance that suits smooth walls, painted or clad in neutral tones. The diffuser is transparent and made of polycarbonate, a resistant material that protects the LED module without affecting light quality.

What makes this lamp special is its articulated mechanism. The reader opens with a simple gesture and at that moment the lighting activates. When closed, the light turns off and the fitting integrates completely back into the wall, as if it were not there. This makes it a very practical option for the bedroom, where comfort is sought without having to get up to turn off a switch.

The light it emits is 2700K, a warm temperature reminiscent of incandescent light. It is a tone that is pleasant for reading without straining the eyes, and does not interfere with the transition to sleep the way cooler lighting would. The included SMD LED source consumes only 3.2 W, making it an efficient fitting for daily use.

As for the spaces where it can be installed, the bedroom is the most natural environment for this recessed light. Placed on both sides of the headboard, it allows each person to control their own lamp independently. It can also work well in a hallway, where a focused, recessed light helps guide the way without taking up space. On a staircase, this type of wall-recessed fitting provides enough light to move safely without adding bulky elements to the surroundings.

The bathroom is another space where a recessed light with these characteristics can make sense, especially in vanity areas or next to a mirror, provided the installation is suitable for the environment. In a mixed-use room, such as a small home office or an entrance hall, the CLICK LED can serve a secondary lighting function without overshadowing other decorative elements.

The matte white finish of the aluminum body complements modern, minimalist, or Scandinavian interiors well. It does not clash with white joinery, lacquered furniture, or walls in light tones. Being completely recessed, it casts no shadows or volume onto the wall, contributing to a tidy aesthetic free of distracting elements.

In short, the FARO CLICK LED is a lamp that addresses a specific need: having reading light near the bed without adding external fittings or visible cables. Its simple design, automatic mechanism, and quality materials make it a solid option for those who want a discreet and long-lasting solution.

Questions and answers

Can the recessed light's reader be left open at any angle, or does it only have two positions?

The CLICK LED mechanism is designed for two states: open, with the lamp on, and closed, with the lamp off and the fitting integrated into the wall. It is not intended to be positioned at intermediate angles.

Can the included LED module be replaced if it stops working?

The SMD LED light source comes integrated into the product and is included from the moment of purchase. As an integrated module, its replacement is not intended as a standard user operation.

What depth of recessed box is needed to install this fitting in the wall?

The recessed light has a depth of 60 mm, so the recessed box in the wall must accommodate at least that measurement for a correct installation.
