The KIVI recessed light includes an integrated dimmable driver, but to regulate the intensity it is necessary for your home's electrical system to have a compatible dimmer switch. The lamp itself is ready to work with one, but the dimmer is not included with the product.

Can the honeycomb filter be removed if a wider spread of light is preferred?

Yes. The honeycomb filter is removable, so you can take it off if you prefer a wider light distribution. When removed, the lighting will be somewhat more direct and less concentrated. To reduce glare again, simply put it back in place.

What size hole needs to be made in the ceiling to recess the KIVI?

The total diameter of the luminaire is 62 mm. The hole in the ceiling must match that size. Before cutting, check that the available depth in the false ceiling is sufficient to accommodate the 30 mm height of the recessed light plus the space needed for the wiring.
