Overview

The FARO TATAWIN lamp is a ceiling pendant luminaire with a satin black metal structure and a green shade, designed for interior spaces where directed light and a timeless style are sought. Its classic silhouette fits well in dining rooms, kitchens, living rooms, and any room where a hanging light point defines the atmosphere of the space.

What sets this lamp apart is the combination of the green metal shade and the satin black structure. That shade concentrates the light downward, creating a visual focal point over the table or the area to be highlighted. It does not disperse light in all directions, but rather organizes it. This is useful in dining rooms or kitchens where functional lighting and design must coexist.

FARO is a Spanish company with a track record in interior and exterior lighting. Its products combine quality materials with design criteria that adapt to different types of interiors, from the most classic to the contemporary.

Installation and specifications

To install this pendant lamp on the ceiling, an existing light point is required at the intended location. The fixture is attached directly to the ceiling using the included rose. It is recommended that the electrical installation be carried out by a qualified electrician. Before any handling, make sure to cut the power from the electrical panel. The suspension cable allows the height of the lamp to be adjusted according to the needs of the space.

To clean the satin black steel structure, use a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that may damage the finish. The green metal shade can be cleaned in the same way. Do not submerge any part of the lamp in water. Periodically check that the mounting elements are firmly secured to the ceiling. Always use bulbs compatible with the E27 socket that do not exceed 15W.

Design and use

The TATAWIN is a pendant lamp with a clear and defined visual presence. The oval-shaped green metal shade covers the bulb from above and directs the beam of light downward. That oval geometry is not just an aesthetic decision: it is also functional, because it concentrates the illumination in a specific area without generating annoying glare to the sides.

The structure is made of steel with a satin black finish. This type of finish does not reflect light aggressively and maintains a clean appearance over time. The combination of the black structure and the green shade is one of those contrasts that work both in classic interiors and in spaces with a more modern or vintage touch.

In the dining room, this pendant lamp serves a dual function. On one hand, it directly illuminates the table with a focal light that facilitates meals and activities on that surface. On the other hand, it becomes a visual element that organizes the space and gives it a center. An oval shade over a rectangular table creates a proportional relationship that is pleasing to the eye.

In the kitchen, placed over an island or countertop, it provides concentrated task lighting. It does not spread throughout the entire room, but is directed to the exact point where it is needed. This makes it practical in spaces where lighting needs to be precise.

In the living room, a pendant lamp like the TATAWIN can work over a coffee table or in a reading corner. The focal light it generates creates a more intimate atmosphere than the general ceiling lighting. The oval shade also has a profile that does not take up too much visual space, so it does not overwhelm the room.

In the bedroom, hung over the nightstand or in the center of the ceiling, it offers soft and directed lighting that does not disturb rest. The classic design of the lamp fits with Nordic-style bedrooms, with wooden furniture or more traditional interiors.

In the bathroom, if a light point is available on the ceiling of the dry area, the TATAWIN can function as a primary or supplementary luminaire. In this case, it is advisable to verify that the installation is carried out outside the wet zones and with the corresponding electrical precautions.

The oval green shade also pairs well with natural materials such as wood or rattan. In a dining room with a wooden table and industrial-design chairs, this lamp acts as a bridge between the classic and the contemporary. The green of the shade can complement indoor plants, earth-toned textiles, or walls in neutral colors without appearing discordant.

The bulb is not included, which allows you to choose the type of light that best suits each use. With a warm-temperature E27 LED bulb, the result is a welcoming and continuous light. With a cooler temperature, the same lamp becomes a more functional and precise light source.
