Installation and specifications

To install this ceiling pendant lamp, a previously installed ceiling light point is required. Given the total length of 2000 mm including the cable, it is advisable to calculate the height at which the bottom of the luminaire will sit before fixing it. In spaces with standard ceilings, it is recommended that the bottom of the lamp be at an adequate distance from the floor or the surface it illuminates. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician. This luminaire does not include a bulb, so it will be necessary to purchase an E27 LED light source separately.

To clean the lamp, a dry or slightly damp cloth is sufficient. The glossy black glass shades can show fingerprints easily, so it is recommended to clean them with a microfibre cloth without abrasive products. The satin black finished steel body is also cleaned dry. Before any cleaning, disconnect the lamp from the electrical supply.

Design and use

The TATAWIN LINEAL S has a linear structure that extends over 1050 mm. The main body is steel with a satin black finish, a finish that does not reflect light directly and gives the whole piece a more restrained and uniform appearance. The shades, on the other hand, are made of glossy black glass, which creates a subtle but visible contrast between the two parts of the lamp.

The oval shape of the shades is the most recognizable element of the design. That silhouette is reminiscent of the traditional buildings of Tataouine, and gives the luminaire its own identity within any environment. It is not a lamp that imitates a generic style: it has a specific reference, and this is evident in the coherence of its proportions.

In a dining room, this pendant lamp works particularly well above elongated tables. The 1050 mm length makes it suitable for tables seating between six and eight people, where a single oval lamp can provide coverage without creating uneven shadows. Glass is a material that requires careful handling. The shades of this pendant lamp are designed for regular domestic use and are not exposed to direct impacts once installed. Avoid knocking them during installation and clean them carefully with a soft cloth.

What type of LED bulb do I need to purchase for this lamp?

The lamp uses an E27 socket, which is one of the most common on the market. You need an LED bulb compatible with that socket and with a maximum power of 15 W. The light source is not included and must be purchased separately.

Does the 100V–240V voltage mean I can use it outside of Spain?

Yes. The wide voltage range makes this ceiling lamp compatible with the electrical supply of most countries, both within Europe and beyond. Always check the type of connector or adapter required depending on the country of installation.
