Installation and specifications

To install this lamp on the ceiling, an existing light point is required at the desired location. Given the weight of the assembly, it is recommended to ensure that the ceiling anchor is solid and fixed to an adequate structural support. If there are any doubts about the electrical installation or the strength of the support, it is best to contact an electrician before proceeding. The connection must be made with the power switched off.

To clean the steel surface, a soft, slightly damp cloth is sufficient. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the matte black finish of the body. The E14 LED bulb is not included, so it is advisable to have it ready before installing the lamp. Periodically check that the connections and the ceiling anchor point remain in good condition.

Design and use

The STUDIO luminaire in linear S version has a length of 915 mm, making it a proportionate option for domestic spaces of medium scale. It does not take up too much space, but it precisely covers the area directly below it. The oval shape of the main body is another defining feature of this lamp: it softens the horizontal presence of the assembly and gives it a less industrial look, closer to a domestic feel.

The body is made of steel with a matte black finish, while the outer assembly features a matte white that contrasts without clashing. This combination works particularly well in modern interiors or in spaces that mix neutral tones with natural materials. If the living room has dark-toned furniture or light-colored walls, this lamp fits in effortlessly. Also in bedrooms with a more refined aesthetic, where a pendant light above a nightstand or desk needs to have a certain visual presence without becoming the absolute focal point.

The STUDIO collection was designed by Nahtrang, a studio that works with references from classic mid-twentieth century design. The proposal does not seek to imitate vintage in a literal way, but rather to take its proportions and formal logic and translate them into something that works today. The result is a lamp that does not have a single, closed style: it can coexist with Nordic-line furniture, with more classic pieces or with mixed interiors.

The E14 LED bulb this luminaire accepts allows you to control the color temperature according to use. In a dining room, a warmer light better accompanies after-dinner conversation. In a kitchen or work area, a more neutral temperature improves visibility. The lamp itself does not condition that choice — you simply need to choose the right bulb when installing it.

The weight of the assembly is around 3 kg, which is typical for steel luminaires of this size. It is not a lightweight piece, but it does not require special installation if the ceiling point is properly anchored. Lights of this type are installed once and remain in place for years without the need for adjustments.

Does the oval shape of the body affect the distribution of light downward?

The oval shape defines the visual profile of the body, but the direction of the light depends on the installed bulb. As a linear luminaire suspended from the ceiling, the light is projected mainly toward the area below.
