Installation and specifications

The aluminium body does not require special products for cleaning. A dry or slightly damp cloth is sufficient. Avoid solvents or abrasive products that may damage the matte black finish. Before cleaning the lamp, always disconnect it from the power supply and wait for it to cool down completely.

Design and use

The PLUMA lamp by FARO is a ceiling pendant with a contemporary line, designed for interiors where detail matters. Its body is made of aluminium with a matte black finish, a lightweight and durable material that gives the piece a solid appearance without adding visual weight. The diffuser is made of opal PMMA, allowing light to emerge filtered and uniform through the vertical slit that characterises this model.

Questions and answers

Does the PLUMA lamp include the LED light source, or does it need to be purchased separately?

The 6W SMD LED light source is included. You do not need to purchase any additional bulb to start using it from the moment of installation.

Is it possible to adjust the height of the pendant to suit different ceilings?

The total height of the lamp is 1860 mm. In many cases the cable can be gathered during installation to adjust the drop according to the needs of the space. If you have any doubts about how to do this, we recommend consulting the electrician carrying out the installation.

Does the opal PMMA diffuser have any advantage over glass in this type of pendant?

PMMA is lighter than glass and more impact-resistant. In a pendant lamp of this type, that translates into greater safety during daily use. In addition, the opal finish diffuses the light source uniformly, preventing the LED strip from being visible directly through the diffuser.
