Design and use

The LUMINA 600 starts from a simple idea: that a pendant lamp can have presence without imposing weight. The body is almost invisible. The oval shape of the unit, combined with the transparent material of the body and the opal diffuser, means that what is perceived is primarily the light, not the structure holding it up.

The polycarbonate diffuser with an opal finish distributes light evenly into the surrounding area. At 2200K, the temperature is very warm, similar to that of a candle or a classic incandescent bulb. Does the opal polycarbonate diffuser affect the perceived intensity of the light?

The opal diffuser softens and distributes the light emitted by the LED, which reduces direct glare. The temperature of 2200K is already very warm in itself, so the combination results in an enveloping and low-intensity light, suitable for resting environments or quiet use.
